Que tal, Hivers. Hay retos personales que nacen para ver nuestra versatilidad como músicos, en esta ocasión quise aprender un tema que está a un nivel alto de ejecución, lo que diría un nivel experto y solo me di dos días para aprenderlo y tocarlo. Jamiroquai, es una banda donde el bajo es realmente el protagonista y para este festival me di la tarea de aprender uno de sus temas con la línea de bajo más espectacular y más satisfactorio de poder tocar. Jay Kay, fundador de esta banda, siempre ha mantenido el estilo funk y acid jazz que por más de tres décadas ha caracterizado tocando, ya por allá en el Woodstok 99, éxitos que hasta ahora siguen siendo vigentes he iconos del género, han ganado varios Grammys, premios europeos e ingleses. Sin duda poder tocar una línea de bajo de esta banda es algo realmente satisfactorio y para esta ronda me ha gustado mucho traer este tema, que posee un estilo único, con un buen balance dentro de la composición y que, sin él, la canción no tendría el mismo éxito. El tema es “Time Wont Wait” de su disco Dynamite, espero les guste.

Howdy, Hivers. There are personal challenges that are born to see our versatility as musicians, this time I wanted to learn a song that is at a high level of execution, what I would say an expert level and I only gave myself two days to learn and play it. Jamiroquai, is a band where the bass is really the protagonist and for this festival I gave myself the task of learning one of their songs with the most spectacular and most satisfying bass line to play. Jay Kay, founder of this band, has always maintained the funk and acid jazz style that for more than three decades has characterized playing, back in Woodstok 99, hits that until now are still in force and icons of the genre, have won several Grammys, European and English awards. Undoubtedly to be able to play a bass line of this band is something really satisfying and for this round I really liked to bring this song, which has a unique style, with a good balance within the composition and that, without it, the song would not have the same success. The song is "Time Wont Wait" from their album Dynamite, I hope you like it.
