The festival of Deepawali is being celebrated with pomp in our country today. As per the traditions, Satyanarayana Katha was held at home after 11:00 pm. Due to which the whole day was very busy, even fasting had to be done in the evening. Being a social person, one has to follow the traditions.
However, there are some things that we need to ignore in this festival. Today, most people burst firecrackers, in which not only the pocket money is wasted but also the environment is greatly damaged. I am totally against this thing. Smoke and noise emanating from firecrackers contaminate the atmosphere. We need to change this tradition a little bit. It is always a good thing to light a house by lighting a festival. Apart from this, Havan is done in most of the houses so that the atmosphere of the house is purified.
