This week for the theme of fraternity Im bringing you a song that tells of a battle fought during the Irish rebellion of 1798.

The Irish Rebellion was a major uprising against British rule in Ireland. The main organising force was the Society of United Irishmen, a republican revolutionary group influenced by the ideas of the American and French revolutions.

The song tells of an army lead by Theobald Wolfe Tone ,one of the founding members of The United Irishmen as the head of the fight the English.
