It’s the 20th vlog and the 27th vlog combined into one 28th vlog. If you missed the memo I went on Holiday on the 20th, and despite having unlimited mobile data it’s not much use when you are lucky to have 1 bar of 4g signal. I did manage to find a spot in the accommodation to leave my iPhone on a shelf that just got 2 bars - but as it was being the internet hotspot for everyone I could hardly touch it all week!

So the vlog was a non starter, not just because I hadn’t recorded it even with a hectic Friday morning trying to sort the last minute bits at work before rushing off.

Anyway I managed to stay away from work for the whole week, and it mostly seemed to not fall down while I was away. Although I was never that far away, keeping an eye on what was happening and remote invoicing and ordering stock - painfully slow with the aol dial up throw back internet I had to work with.

On the whole a hot sunny week, so I’m well browned and have walked many miles of beaches, sea fronts, watched the ocean going out and coming back in and fished for crabs in a lake. And to finish off a trip to Blackpool Zoo, always a favourite and it was packed - never seen it so busy even the overflow car park was full to the brim. The animals were on top form though, so the Hive SublimeSunday post is going to be a photo packed monster!

Of course the trouble with leaving work for a week, is having to go when you get back and sort out the loose ends - so Saturday morning I was there at 7.45am to replace dead fluorescent tube with a nice new led button light, print a load of Fridays Hermes orders and shipping labels and pack them, and load them up with Thursday and Fridays Hermes collection - which they magically didn’t collect so I had in the end 50 off parcels to dump in the lockers. Oh and five parcels for posting I had to frank and then drop in the franking box between hermes locker number 1 and hermes locker number 2. And to make sure I caught the Hermes collections from the lockers today - I did it all and was home again for 11am! Despite the bank holiday I will definitely be working Monday, it’s going to be another busy week as I head to London on Wednesday for an Exhibition.
