Well, it's been quite a while since I've made a video that hasn't been about Splinterlands, so I thought I'd make a series about my departure from Australia, to my new life in Mexico.
Initially a 12 hour flight from Melbourne to Santiago Chile, then onto Lima Peru, then to Cusco Peru, my first stop that didn't involve hanging around in airports waiting for my next flight.
A friend of mine manages a couple of hostels in Peru, so I stayed 3 nights in Cusco at one of his hostels just to catchup, as I hadn't seen him in 8 years, and to take in the sites again, as Cusco truly is a marvel.
From Cusco, I went to stay with a friend and his family in Urubamba, nestled in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
Either side of urubamba, are Pisac and Ollantaytambo, absolutely incredible towns hosting many archaeological sites and ancient wonders, so I simply had to visit them again, as each was only about a 1 hour bus (collectivo) ride in each direction, from Urubamba.
Then it was back to Cusco again for 1 night before my flight to Bogota, Colombia the next day. But Colombia is the next video, this one is all about Peru.
So please join me on a narrated photo slide show of the truly Amazing Cusco and Sacred Valley.
