Al Bosc D' la Fola. #1(ITA/ENG) The Fairy tale Forest. #1

Hello, friends today I am talking about a magical place located in the mountains of Reggio Emilia (Italy).
The location is exactly San Giovanni di Querciola in the municipality of Viano and here Mr Dino, whom I had the pleasure of meeting on our tour of this enchanted place, has built a real fairy world for children but not only made of sculptures that represent the characters of various fairy tales made from dried chestnut trunks.
Fables Fables and more fables renamed "IL BOSC D 'LA FOLA" (dialect) or "THE FAIRY TALE FOREST", wherever you turn, characters from the many fantasy worlds of different writers are reproduced, starting from Pinocchio di Collodi, passing through Little Red Riding Hood up to Snow White by the Grimm Brothers and many many others ...

Mr Dino told us that it all started a bit for fun when in 2017 he wanted to make a Pinocchio for his grandson and since that day he has never stopped creating a fairy tale a year. His works have aroused such interest that they have been exhibited in this wonderful and evocative place, which is the destination of many more or fewer adults and more or fewer children.

In the video, the sculptures of the first fairy tale we encountered or The magic steel , a fairy tale that I did not know and which I did not find so beautiful when I went to look for it, as Mr Dino also admitted, but the sculptures that they represent it are fantastic.

The fairy tale tells of a greedy soldier who, returning from the war, met a witch who asked him to lower himself into a hollow tree.
At the bottom of this tree are three rooms guarded by three dogs.
The witch promised the soldier to make the three huge dogs harmless for the time he needed to retrieve a flint that belonged to his grandmother.

The soldier returns to the witch with the coins and the steel and decides to kill the witch.
For a while, he led the good life with the money and decided he wanted to marry the beautiful princess.
Unaccustomed to wealth, he soon remained poor.
He remembers the lock and his secrets: by setting fire to one or two or three times he has the opportunity to make the three dogs and their money appear.
After discovering the trick, the dogs lead the princess.

Ciao amici oggi vi parlo di un posto magico situato sulle montagne di Reggio Emilia (Italy).
La località è esattamente San Giovanni di Querciola nel comune di Viano e qui il signor Dino, che ho avuto il piacere di incontrare nel nostro giro a questo luogo incantato, ha costruito un vero mondo fatato per bambini ma non solo fatto di sculture che rappresentano i personaggi di svariate favole ricavate da tronchi di castagni secchi.
Favole Favole e ancora favole rinominato "IL BOSC D' LA FOLA" (dialetto) ovvero IL BOSCO DELLE FAVOILE, ovunque ti giri sono riprodotti personaggi dai tanti mondi di fantasia di diversi scrittori, a partire da Pinocchio di Collodi, passando per Cappuccetto Rosso fino a Biancaneve dei Fratelli Grimm e tanti tanti altri…

Il signor Dino ci ha raccontato che è nato tutto un pò per gioco, quando nel 2017 ha voluto realizzare un Pinocchio per il suo nipotino e da quel giorno non si è mai più fermato realizzando una favola all'anno. Le sue opere hanno suscitato un tale interesse da esporle in questo meraviglioso e suggestivo posto meta di tante persone più o meno adulte e più o meno bambini.

Nel video le sculture della prima favola che abbiamo incontrato ovvero L'acciarino magico, favola che non conoscevo e che andandola a cercare non ho trovato così bella, come ha ammesso anche il signor Dino, ma le sculture che la rappresentano sono decisamente fantastiche.

Riassunto della favola L'acciarino magico per chi non la conoscesse.

La fiaba narra di un soldato avido che, tornando dalla guerra, incontrò una strega che gli chiese di calarsi in un albero cavo.
Sul fondo di questo albero ci sono tre stanze custodite da tre cani.
La strega promise al soldato di rendere i tre enormi cani innocui per il tempo a lui necessario per recuperare un acciarino appartenuto a sua nonna.

Il soldato ritorna dalla strega con le monete e l’acciarino e decide di uccidere la strega.
Per un po’ con i soldi fece la bella vita è decise di voler sposare la bella principessa.
Non abituato alla ricchezza rimase presto povero.
Si ricorda dell’acciarino e dei suoi segreti: dando fuoco uno o due o tre volte ha la possibilità di far apparire i tre cani e i loro soldi.
Scoperto il trucco si fa poi portare dai cani la principessa.
