Guacamelee 2 | Juan vs Uay Pek [No Commentary Gameplay]

Today, we are going back into the Mexiverse. We continue are quest for the relics to stop Salvador. This is Guacamlee 2.

Last time, we got plenty of power ups to let us push through our journey. This time we'll get some more and step into the next temple, the Obsidian Temple to find a new relic.

However, it won't be so easy. We'll be running against Uay Pek. This creature is an acquaintance of our master, Uay Chivo. Maybe there's story between both. But we have no time for a soap opera. The relics are in danger.

Around here we'll see some familiar figures like Muñeco and Salvador who are trying to press on for the relic.

Inside the temple, we need to activate some mechanisms to get to the relic. We have unlocked one entering the temple and we are missing three more. These same currents of air are a recurring theme along the rooms. It makes it difficult to traverse the whole are, but after some practice it's easier to move around.

We'll find the other core ability we are missing, the K.O. Headbutt. This will let us destroy yellow blocks in our way and find some goodies and defeat some baddies.

With the mechanisms unlock, we found out Uay Pek was letting us go through the difficult part to take the relic. It's time to fight. However, before we do that, we'll go through a very clever joke in the shape of blank rooms.

It seems the janitor of the temple cleaned some rooms so thoroughly, we can't see the walls. Defeating enemies here let's us paint the walls and see where we are going.

The fight against Uay Pek is interesting. The room will change it's layout as we fight. Giving us more enemies to defeat in each configuration so we can finally wrestle her. However, she has a surprise in store for us.

Juan vs Uay Pek

Hoy volvemos al Mexiverso. Continuaremos nuestra aventura para conseguir las reliquias y detener a Salvador. Esto es Guacamelee 2.

En la última entrega recibimos varios power ups para ayudarnos a continuar nuestro camino. Ahora conseguiremos otros y nos adentraremos en otra de las áreas relevantes del juego, el Templo de Obsidiana. Aquí vamos a encontrar otra de las reliquias que buscamos.

Claro, no será tan fácil. Estaremos en contra de Uay Pek, una antigua conocida de nuestro maestro, Uay Chivo. Quizá hay algo de historia entre estos dos, pero no hay tiempo para telenovelas.

En este mismo lugar veremos a algunas figuras conocidas como Muñeco y Salvador. Ambos con sus planes para obtener la reliquia.

Dentro del templo hay que activar 4 mecanismos para abrir el camino a la reliquia. Al entrar, ya desbloqueamos otro y nos quedan 3. Este mecanismo de aire es algo recuerrente en las habitaciones y será importante aprender a utilizar las corrientes a nuesto favor para poder avanzar en el templo.

También, encontraremos otra de las habilidades fundamentales, el K.O. Headbutt. Con esto podremos destruir los bloques amarillos que nos bloquean el camino para obtener algunas cosas y derrotar enemigos.

Al desbloquear los mecanismos, nos daremos cuenta que Uay Pek nos ha estado utilizando para hacer el trabajo difícil y quedarse con la reliquia. Es hora de pelear. No obstante, antes de llegar al jefe, vamos a pasar por unas habitaciones que son un chiste muy interesante. Resulta que el encargado del templo ha limpiado todo tan bien que ya no se ve nada.

Aquí tendremos que derrotar enemigos y movernos para entender cómo atravesar estos lugares. Los enemigos dejan manchas que nos pueden ayudar a esto.

La pelea contra Uay Pek tiene algunos detalles muy creativos. La habitación cambiará su configuración y tendremos que esquivar ataques y derrotar a algunos enemigos hasta conseguir luchar contra el jefe. Aunque, ella nos tiene preparada una sorpresa.
