No Encore! [No Commentary Gameplay]

Today, we come back to the Mexiverse and continue our quest to defeat the evil Calaca whose first name is Carlos.

Last time, we snuffed out Flame Face's...ehm... face. And we need to backtrack to the Sierra Madre in order to get to the location of the skeletons' factory. However, we'll get a new power up to help on that. It's called the Goat Climb. And it's actually self-explanatory. It gave me some Speed Boost Metroid vibes. With this, we can sure climb our way up to the Sierra.

But getting there won't be easy as backtracking never is. We'll have to take a detour straight to Hell. There we can fast travel with the help of an Olmec's Head. There's an area of challenge in Hell called Torture Chambers. I didn't include it here since I was just advancing the story. And I bet this have something to do with a secret ending.

And wouldn't you know it, the next area is inside a volcano!

So, we'll finally face off against the creator of the skeletons. He'll for sure have some surprises in store for us. The platforming in this temple is escalating in difficulty. I bet the next area will be even more challenging. However, the last ability is unlocked here. It is the ability to fly from one wall to another.

The motivations of these trio of skeletons was by far the more pathetic of the rest of the goons of Calaca. They just wanted to get back the singer of their band. It is said he died young but he had a beautiful voice. I'd try to get that member back too if the name of the group turns out to be the Terrible Trio too.

And with these musicians out of the way is time to keep moving forward to save the world from Calaca. I hope you enjoy this new entry on the gameplay.

Hoy volvemos al Mexiverse para continuar nuestras aventuras y derrotar al malvado Calaca cuyo nombre es Carlos.

La última vez apagamos la cara de Flame Face. Ahora nos toca regresar hasta llegar a la Sierra Madre y atravesar la fábrica de los esqueletos. Sin embargo, una habilidad nueva nos facilitará el trabajo. Es el Goat Climb. Se explica a sí misma como esa habilidad de las cabras para escalar superficies empinadas. Esto me trajo recuerdos del Speed Boost en Metrois. Con esta habilidad, subir hasta la Sierra será pan comido.

Aunque llegar allá no será fácil. Un desvío nos llevará directo a El Infierno donde podremos regresar a donde debemos ir gracias a la cabeza Olmeca. Hay toda un área de cámaras de torura que son desafíos a superar en esta área, pero decidí no incluirlos. No avanzan la historia como tal y seguramente son para lograr el final alternativo del juego.

Y por si no lo han adivinado, la siguiente área del juego está dentro de un volcan.

Finalmente, mos enfrentaremos contra el creador de los esqueletos. Seguro nos tendrá preparadas algunas sorpresas mientras nos acercamos a la pelea. En este templo, ya se puede ver una diferencia en la dificulta de las áreas sobre plataformas que nos indica que la próxima será mucho más difícil. Y aquí conseguimos la última habilidad del juego. Básicamente, ahora podemos volar de una pared a otra.

La motivación de este trio de esqueletos era la más patética de todos los esbirros de Calaca. Solo querían recuperar a su amigo cantante. Se dice que murió joven y tenía una voz hermosa. Yo también me uniría al plan si la muerte convirtiera a mi banda en un Trío Terrible.

Con estos músicos derrotados, es tiempo de seguir avanzando y salvar al mundo de Calaca. Espero que disfruten de este gameplay.
