This is about the routine of fishermen in my town, Lhokseumawe, Aceh-Indonesia. In my area, local fishermen still use land trawlers as an alternative to catch fish. This trawl is usually sown just a few miles from the mainland, then the fishermen pull it ashore until both sides of the trawl are reunited after being scattered in the U liter position.
Land trawling is still one of the modes of fishing for those middle-low class fishermen, in the sense that they do not have a large boat to catch fish in the ocean. This trawl only uses a small boat that is paddled using kayak, there is no engine.
Usually, the majority of fishermen who are members of land trawl groups are young men who can do part time work as trawlers, at least they get a salary as pocket money to go to school the next day. This is the culture of the local community in our city, I hope you enjoy this video friends.
