Love on six strings (English/Spanish)

A friendly greetings dear Hivers, it is a pleasure for me to be sharing again in Q-Inspired In the video you can see me performing an instrumental version of the song "Como fue" a bolero that became popular in the voice of Benny Moré, it was composed by Ernesto Duarte Brito. The reason why I have chosen this song is because yesterday, March 6th, my dear life partner @jetta.amaya and I celebrated eight years of being together. This was one of the first songs that Jetta dedicated to me, when our relationship was beginning to be born against all bad odds.

"Como fue" is for me a loving hymn that reminds me how strong we have been and everything we have had to face to be together. You see, Jetta and I met when she was 42 and I was 21, two women and with that age difference, we didn't seem like the most acceptable couple in a country as conservative as Venezuela.

I could say that we simply fell in love and that love clouds all reason, but I would be lying. I think the most beautiful thing about everything we have built together in the last eight years is the awareness of every decision. Our relationship has grown on solid foundations and without romantic speeches, without traps or persecutions, with all lucidity.

We chose each other and eight years later we are still choosing each other. And of course I had to share with you the sweet emotion that I feel when I play this song full of the living memory of our love. I also want to share with you a verse I wrote for my beloved Jetta.

I celebrate us sweetheart, I celebrate the day we met.
