A friendly greeting dear Hivers. It gives me great pleasure to be with you again in another Splinterlands Art Contest Week 272 to share another Fan Art of the great cards of this great game. This time it's LOBB LOWLAND, I fell in love with this card since I saw it.

As a child I always drew gorillas, for a while I made a whole series of gorillas and named and characterized each gorilla character I invented, I had a blog full of my gorilla family. So seeing this letter filled me with memories and I was able to live the adventure of drawing a gorilla again. Obviously this is not just any ape, this powerful character has an incredible story that is worth knowing.

To make the fans art I only needed a white sheet of paper, a pencil and a black marker, although this one has a fine tip on one side and a micro tip on the other so I would say two markers.

As I mentioned last week, when you have markers of various thicknesses in the tip, the finish is much nicer. Beautiful details are achieved and I love that.

As always it is better to do the sketch in pencil, although great artists like to experiment working with freehand marker, but I prefer to do my sketch in pencil. It gives me much more confidence.

I would like to re-emphasize the importance of inking, it is important to respect the natural shadows in the drawings. The more we draw with marker the more we will educate the mind and the eyes to identify the place of the shadows. And the more shadows we draw, the more volume the drawing will have and this will make the difference.

Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers. Me da mucho gusto volver a estar con ustedes en otro Splinterlands Art Contest Week 272 para compartir otro Fan Art de las estupendas cartas de este grandioso juego. Esta vez re trata de LOBB LOWLAND, me enamore de esta carta desde que la vi.

De niña siempre dibujaba gorilas, durante un tiempo hice toda una seria de gorilas y les ponía nombres y caracterizaba a cada personaje gorila que inventaba, tenía un blog lleno de mi familia de gorilas. Así que v3er esta carta me lleno de recuerdos y pude vivir la aventura de volver a dibujar un gorila. Obviamente este no es cualquier simio, este poderos personaje tiene una historia increíble que vale la pena conocer.

Para realizar el fans art solo necesite una hoja blanca, un lápiz y un marcador negro, aunque este tiene una punta fina de un lado y una punta micro del otro así que diría que dos marcadores.

Como les comente la semana pasada cuando se tiene marcadores de varios grosores en la punta, el acabado es muy más bonito. Se logran detalles hermosos y eso me encanta.

Como siempre es mejor hacer el boceto a lápiz, aunque a los grandes artistas les gusta experimentar trabajando con marcador a mano alzada, pero yo prefiero hacer mi boceto a lápiz. Me da mucha más seguridad.

Me gustaría volver hacer énfasis en la importancia del entintado, es importante respetar las sombras naturales en los dibujos. Mientras más dibujemos con marcador más iremos educando la mente y los ojos para identificar el lugar de las sombras. Y mientras más sombras tracemos más volumen tendrá el dibujo y esto hará la diferencia.
