This video showcases the Philippines' Traditional Home Cooking using a wood fire in a clay stove. This video feature "Adobong Manok" or "Chicken Adobo". Adobo is one of our country's most popular and favorite dishes. Adobo is a very versatile dish, you can cook adobo using other ingredients besides chicken such as pork, string beans, and water spinach. In its simplest form, an adobo dish contains only one main component whether it is chicken, pork, water spinach, or string beans then the spices, but you can add sweet potato, potato, or tofu.
Some interesting thoughts
