Hay rincones de mi propio país que nunca he podido visitar, por distintas razones. Quizás algún día lo haga, y espero poder hacerlo. Mientras tanto, ahora tengo la oportunidad de explorar los rincones de una preciosa isla llamada Tenerife. Al ser alguien con poco tiempo en un nuevo país, lo primero que planteo hacer es mostrar los sitios más conocidos o renombrados, llevando por supuesto a Hive a todos estos lados. Luego, podríamos ir conociendo más detalles autóctonos de las Islas Canarias.

En este video de 3Speak visitaremos la Plaza España de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Es una plaza muy turística, la cual posee una fuente de agua y algunas estatuas de interés histórico y arquitectónico. Hay mucha historia detrás de todo esto que me gustaría contarles en próximos videos en mi canal de 3Speak.

Algo que olvidé mencionar en el video, por cierto, es que la Plaza España se encuentra justo al lado del mar (mejor dicho, océano), el cual se encuentra justo opuesto hacia donde yo apuntaba la cámara en casi todas las tomas que hice a la Plaza con mi teléfono. Es por ello que allí se encuentra un castillo marítimo, que en siglos pasados defendía la isla de barcos invasores.

Me llaman mucho la atención los sitios arqueológicos antiguos, especialmente las construcciones. En este video también les muestro los restos del Castillo de San Cristóbal, ubicado en la Plaza España de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Tenerife tiene una historia muy interesante, la cual, en cierto sentido, es algo parecida a la de nuestros países de Latinoamérica. Más adelante les mostraré una visita que hice a un museo que visité recientemente, el cual muestra mucho de esto en particular.

Las diligencias de llegar a un nuevo país y la adaptación no me han permitido ser constante como quisiera en mi blog de Hive y en mis otras dos cuentas (acontmotor y acontblog). Something I forgot to mention in the video, by the way, is that Plaza España is right next to the sea (rather, ocean), which is just opposite to where I was pointing the camera in almost every shot I took of the Plaza with my phone. That is why there is a maritime castle there, which in past centuries defended the island from invading ships.

Ancient archaeological sites, especially the buildings, really catch my attention.
