CARNAVALES DE ARONA🔥 en el Sur de Tenerife — Los Cristianos🏖️🎭🎊 [ESP-ENG]

El Sur de Tenerife es sede de los segundos carnavales más importantes de la isla. En mi visita a Los Cristianos, unas semanas atrás, surgió algo en el camino que no esperaba. No estaba en mis planes asistir a ningún carnaval, ni siquiera lo pensaba. A mediados de marzo, se celebran los Carnavales de Arona en Los Cristianos, al sur de la isla, y justamente yo me encontraba allí aquel día para ser testigo de ello. No desaproveché la ocasión para tomar fotos y grabar.

Podría decirse que Hive me ha convertido en una especie de "periodista," siempre preparado para grabar y capturar cualquier cosa que pueda servir para mi blog. Aunque lo que grabo y capturo suele ser mucho más que lo que publico últimamente, al menos tengo material que iré publicando para las próximas semanas. Estamos en mayo, y a penas ahora vengo publicando un post sobre estos carnavale sucedidos en marzo.

Estos carnavales no son para menos. Son los segundos en importancia en Tenerife, siendo los primeros los de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, la capital de la isla. Los mejores del mundo son los de Rio de Janeiro en Brasil, pero dicen que los segundos son los de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Personalmente, me pareció ver un desfile muy vistoso, colorido y bien elaborado. Lo pueden apreciar en el video de 3Speak que comparto en este post.

Desde hacía un buen tiempo que no sentía cierta alegría en el ambiente en un evento público. Llegué a Tenerife hace poco, y en Venezuela desde hace mucho años que no asistía a eventos públicos de este tipo. Ya que no estaba programada esta visita a los carnavales, no tenía un guión preparado ni nada por el estilo para este video. Soy relativamente nuevo acá, por lo que aún no conozco del todo las tradiciones y fechas más importantes de la cultura canaria.

Me pregunto si este formato de videos es ideal para un blog de Hive. Videos sin voz ni escritos, simplemente mostrando fotografías o imágenes del lugar. Este video de 3Speak es más bien una especie de complemento del post. No tomé tantas fotos como hubiera querido para el post, y con los videos grabados tenia suficiente material para algo audiovisual.

Por otro lado, el sur de Tenerife es un lugar con una "personalidad" propia, diferenciada del Norte (Puerto de la Cruz) y de la capital Santa Cruz, más hacia el Este. El sur es un lugar más árido, donde el sol es un poco más fuerte y el entorno urbano es altamente turístico. Es lo más parecido al Caribe que puedes encontrar en la isla de Tenerife, con playas de arena clara. Los carnavales son parte importante de la cultura de una región, y creo que precisamente Tenerife es un lugar con alta influencia de Hispanoamérica, precisamente donde los Carnavales también tienen cierta importancia.

These carnivals are not for less. They are the second in importance in Tenerife, the first being those of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island. The south is a more arid place, where the sun is a bit stronger and the urban environment is highly touristic.
