@valued-customer: I don't understand people that support torture. It's like they think they're immune to it, or smth. I can understand psychopaths. They have no empathy. They don't view people as human, like themselves, so watching them suffer is amusing to them. I am revulsed by it, but I understand it. I do not understand ordinary people, that do have empathy, that do realize the people they're supporting torturing are people just like them. Maybe they're just too stupid to realize they, or their kids, or friends, could be next. Maybe they're just born slaves, and are compulsive about doing whatever overlords want them to do. I can't understand either one of those things, either. It is so weird that I can understand psychos, but not ordinary folks that are slavish, or extraordinarily stupid. Thanks!
