@melinda010100: This is awesome! Social media should be social. I agree with you 100%. I'm here to connect with people and the Ecency community is my favorite bunch of folks! I did watch every minute of your video. I am so glad that you volunteered to be a curator this month. You are doing an awesome job. It is an eye opening experience, isn't it? 😉
@uop: Thank you dear for such nice suggestions to get your content rank. And I am using ecency from the day first. And Ecency has helped me a lot in the beginning, It helped me to grow when I was even unable to make my first post. But I always appreciate @melinda010100 who is such a great lady and she is really a gift for all of us to have her.
@thelogicaldude: Good tips bud. I found it is important to tell a little story about your videos. It helps for sure. Anyway, keep up the good work!
@joydukeson: I really love your tips. Thanks for sharing. I just started using the ecency frontend and I enjoy it
@karinxxl: I think people need to realize that offen the effort what you put into it brings te results eventually. As in...when you make a post of not that many words, not that many images, and not that many effort, the results maybe...you know not that many No guarantees ofcourse but that if you do all the effort the result will be so, but the chance is bigger ofcourse. Apart from that: much kudos for you as a curator. Scanning through all of those posts is no joke, as there is a lot of rubbish in there (puts hands in own pocket as well, but I realize that the votes will be accordingly), and finding the gems can be nearly a fulltime job. takes a bow for curators
@wannabescrapper: I definitely need to work on my descriptions and all that. My problem is that the video editor is on my phone and I upload directly to 3Speak from it. I always plan to go to the laptop and do a better description but often get sidetracked and forget. I have always had the personal aspect with my videos because I don't see myself as a product. I want to connect with people as people instead of as personas. Anyhow, I will follow and try to keep up and each week will try to spend some time on making the videos a little better.
@leeart: I have just started using ecency and I don't know why I didn't use it right away. I have yet to watch your video. I hope I can do it later on :D Got here through @dreemport :) Cheers!
@coquicoin: Hi! I don't know if you have ever visited some of my posts. I use Ecency a lot, although I confess I don't use it for posting. I curate in a niche community of OCD incubation, so I will definitely watch your video because I am interested in the topic. And one thing I see when curating content apart from the quality of it, is the engagement of the author, for me, it's a key factor. I got here via Dreemport.
@dreemsteem: hehehe so... I peeked to see the people who came here frm dreemport and there were at least 4 so that's cool! and some actually watched! and some said they would later! hehehe I figured that might be the case and you know why.. hahaha cuz i talked to you in Dm (or the channel?) talking about how dreemport focuses more on written content than video... they should be able to read your post without watching. I KNOW THAT YOU JUST CRINGED. hahahaha believe me. i know!!!! because I DO VIDEOS. They take 8 hours to produce and only 3 minutes is up there edited and perfected for people. and they STILL don't watch my 3 minute video! hhahaha and i'm like gahhhhhhh pleeeeease people! LOL just watch but the bottom line is that's a risk when we do videos. over time, maybe people get our style love it and WANT to watch... hehehe and that's up to us to build that kind of following! but like i said i'm actually pleased with people actually coming here and leaving a comment saying they were here to support and even if they only watched a bit they commented on the bit they watched. now for me hehehe i'm watching now, as i am writing. (and i'm 15 minutes in now hehehe) and already agreeing with you SO much. I've been here for a while (6 years) so some of these things I figured out a while ago hehehe but still GREAT content for newbies and even oldbies that need some help! hehehe for me i want comments more than financial rewards. JUST LIKE YOU. I actually got into a big debate with someone about 1 year in... who told me i was foolish for saying that. he was all about the money. i was about the engagement. he is gone. i am here. LOL still enjoying myself. he left when the money got scarce. meh. you gotta ride the wave. and expect the troughs. hehehe i am committed to my following. and i like to stick with them (even if i go to another platform... i am STILL committed to my following!) but i LOVE what you said about writing content regardless of your video. I think we need to reach our followers by any means necessary. video for the video folks and text for those who just want to connect but don't have the time for the video. love love love that. great info about how to curate wisely too with the MOST efficient use of our limited voting power! ok now i'm not running away. hehehe but i am. my son is taking me to dinner... but i made it to 20 minutes out of the 27... hehehe i will try my best to come back and finish the video!!! here from DreemPort... of course! HEHEHE thanks for jumping right in!!
@meta007: Hello! unklebonehead I am new to hive and not aware of everything. I am learning slowly watching people like yours. As today I have learnt many things. You said none gonna watch your video,it is not true tough it was meant for us.Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
@fernandoylet: You are too kind when saying... "If you really want Web3 to go somewhere, you all need to quit looking NFTs and criptocurrency as investments, they are not, they need to be seen as tangible digital assets, not investments." To me, it is called gross 'speculation' with a complementary currency that should be independently valued, not by its exchange value.
@jane1289: I'm not sure if you visited me yet, but I'll consider watching this as I might get something useful 😁.. Quality content for me? Something that resonates with the readers. Have a nice day.
@dreemsteem: p,s... if you comment on my comment i'll be back to upvote that comment since i can't upvote this post anymore! and p.p.s we will agree to disagree about the images people use. hahaha i use professional pictures BUT i connect people with my text. so i do agree that a post can be too sterile.... but i override that with my emotions and feelings that pour out over the page! hehehehehe really enjoyed this!
@dreemsteem: all the same people. all in teh same big world. yes. YES. nothing divides us unless we WANT to be divided. if we want to be united.. it's so easy. banners yes... i usually don't use them but lately, i've been using one for imaging sources that i created for dreemport but yeah... i totally agree. it does just let people's eyes gloss over. but also.... hmmm i think sometimes you do catch the one or two people that do ask. i've been yelled at my someone on my team LOL that i should be sharing!!! haahaha but i do!!! i just try to do it in a way that is the most... hmmm effective? and i think that is genuinely. but yeah, i do see the need for spreading the word in multiple ways too. so they're wearing me down LOLOLOL ok guess what? i finished the whole video! you said at the end no one would watch it... but... i did ;) (my son wasn't quite ready to leave so i got to finish heheheeh)
