Hello and welcome back to my channel, this time with another video about Magi, as you can read in the title, I want to talk about token and NFT. deployment or minting on Magi. And it is pretty easy these days because we have recently launched an SDK for this and we implemented the SDK also, of course, in our flagship Front and Altera. If you want to go really nerdy and really cyberpunkky, you can always go to Okinoco .io. You will find the same methods there, but I want to focus on the super simple way via Altera. So on Altera.magi.e. Eco, you can log in via launch app. I have made one addition that is not checked in yet, so we will switch to this side, which is my development page, and I will log in with my Hive wallet. Let us pick TipFox just to show you my owned NFTs, and then I sign in. You will have Magi tokens and NFTs. This widget is... part of an SDK, you can take this and edit to your website. There is a really good documentation about it. I will drop a link in the description if you want to read more. But here, you can deploy your own collections. A collection is needed to mint NFTs into it. And on the second page, you have also tokens. You can also deploy tokens. So on the NFT side, you see all the collections you have NFTs in. So for example, I have DIY Hub NFTs, I have FernLAT NFTs, and I also have Okinoco NFTs. On this page, you can burn them, and you can send them, and if you own the collection yourself, you can even mint them from here. And also you can edit the collection and mint additional NFTs to this collection. So everything you need to have, you need to find is at one place. There are a lot of functions that are not supported of this SDK widget yet. We will add them when we need them, for example, to give a market allowance to use your NFTs for market transactions and a bit more, but we focus on the super basic functions and needed functions in this SDK. The contracts themselves are very well built out. You can also find links in the description. If you deploy here, you will always use the current version from GitHub. But you can always do the crazy, cody, nerdy. way and do it yourself on your own machine, but this is a way for people to deploy collections and mint tokens that are not the nerdy coding people. On the token side, it's exactly the same. You see which tokens you have, how many tokens you have. If it is your own token, you can mint more. There will come way more functionalities also here, but these are probably the 99.99% used functions. Okay, and now everyone is waiting for it. Let us cover the deployment. I want to deploy an NFT collection. It could seem a little bit confusing, but if you follow along, it will be really, really simple. So first of all, very important, deployment costs you 10 HPD from your layer 1 wallet, so Hive wallet. Not your Magi wallet, you need to have 10 HBD liquid sitting and waiting in your Hive wallet. I will not deploy another NFT collection because I'm running out of HBD slowly, so I will just do a little dry run with you. So the collection name, let us say new collection. new or new call whatever you want. Normally they are four or three letters. The base URL is something you can use as a prefix for all your NFT URL. So if you create NFTs with images and you upload these images somewhere, they all lay at the same spot. This is the base URL. You only need to then name your NFTs, like the image files themselves, and it will magically combine both information to show the NFT image. I, for example, have every NFT I have created yet on HTTP, NFTsokinoco.io, and you should add a trailing slash. So your NFTs... do not need to start with the slash. This checkbox will get removed probably because it is too technically. I will not cover this now. And then we have a description that's basically another way to describe your collection in a longer way. So the collection name has some boundaries. The description does not have any boundaries. You can do it, but remember, the more characters you add to your transactions, the more RC it will cost. And on Magi. R.C. are generated from your HBD, not from your HP. So you need to have some HBD in your Magi wallet to have some RC. And especially bigger NFTs will reduce your RC. But don't be scared. RC is getting refilled over time, just like on Hive. I will... not at any description. Then we have a collection icon. If you want to have a cool looking icon on your collection, this is the URL for it. Of course, you can also use the Hive Image links. I tend to store them on my server just to be safe. If you're ready, with everything, you just hit Deploy Collection, then this window will appear. As you can see, it is downloading the current source code from VSD Eco Magi NFT, contract, the main branch, then it's checking, if it's changed since the last compilation, if it's the same, then it will just use the compiled contract code, so to say, and uploads it to the network, and in the end, you will get asked for a transaction and this transaction basically pushes your collection onto Magi after i accepted this, I will now cancel it. It will go through an indexing phase because your collection needs to get indexed off-chain, very technical, just wait for it, and then you will sign another transaction to initialize all the values you entered. So the name and the image and the description and all that, this is another transaction on the network, and then you're done. After this, your collection will appear here, and you will be able to click. this plus to mint new NFTs. And minting new NFTs is also pretty easy. You just have a recipient, you don't need to mint it to your own account. Of course, it is pre-selected, but you can mint it to anyone you want. A token ID, like I've said, if you want to use the base URL, NFT ID way, then these will be looking like this. You can mint more, so multiple NFTs from one kind. which is an addition. So you can basically mint one RPs, addition 1 of 100, up until 100. You do not need to mint all the NFTs at the same time. You can just mint one, and later on, mint more and more and more, until you hit your max supply, let's say 100. And you can also set it... to soulbound. Soulbound means the one who minted this NFT is able to send it out to other people, but they are not allowed to send it out to other people. So imagine like an entry ticket for a festival or a badge that you visited an event, just like the I have Open Days. We all received a badge for this. These are soulbound NFTs, you cannot transfer them, you cannot sell them. So that's what Soulbound means. And then you also have some other data like a name, a description, and of course an image URL if you want to have image URLs that are not related to your base URL. But other than that, just use the token ID. If you add a name, the name will be shown on the UI. If you don't have a name, the token ID will be shown at the UI. MintNFT will just ask you to sign a transaction. and this will not cost you anything. It only costs you RC on the METI network, so the only real costs you have are the 10 HBD to create your collection. Let us just quickly jump to tokens. That is kind of the same. You click on deploy, you have way less input values, new token, new zero decimals, and 1 million. Mac supply. Deploy, same method like before. If we make an update and nobody deployed something, this step could take some time. The operation will look like the same. You have some major related code and the basic transfer of 10hpD. Also, here you have to wait after the deployment. It will go through an indexing phase. Then you need to sign the initializing transaction. Then you're done. If you have deployed a token, just let me know, just ping me if you make a post about it. I will be very, very happy to see. When we have a market, you will be able to integrate these tokens and also NFTs on the market by default, because we have a token standard. And if your contracts follow the token standard, your contracts or your collections and tokens will be usable on the market. Same goes for... pools. You can create your tokens and you can build up a pool, for example, DIY HBD. and then by default people will be able to trade Bitcoin to your own token. Of course, we won't have only Bitcoin. There is Dash in the making, there's Lightcon in the making, EVM in the making, there are a lot of things in the making in the background, so we will have a bright future here on Magi, and because we always use HBD as our base currency, the Hive price will benefit if this goes through the roof like I imagine. No financial advice. Like I said, in the description you can find a demo page where all these things are explained. Here you also connect with your Hive account, and you can find all the information how to install the widget, how to use the widget with different authentication setups. And there's also a description how to use it headless. So if you want to implement your own UI just using the SDK, this section is for you. Thanks for watching, thanks for your support, and I am looking forward for your NFTs and tokens on Magi in your future. See ya, bye.
