Blocktunes Dev Update- Introducing The New DAW Editor

What's happening, my folks, it's your boy the logical dude, coming at you with another Block Tunes development update. I'm really excited about this update because I am introducing a new feature to the studio that I've actually been one to add from the beginning, but just didn't know how. But I found the way, and I've built it. It's the digital audio workstation. We have a full-on browser-based DAW editor in BlockTunes for our gold tier level members. So this is a really cool function that will let you build songs. We've got about 8,500 samples in there that I have pulled from a variety of different places, all, you know... licensed, you know, all good to go so that you can actually use these samples and create music out of them and all that kind of good stuff. So, got a whole bunch of samples built in there for you. That actually didn't come with the platform. That was for me, that was extra for you guys, because I love you guys. Yeah, no, but it needed something. So, you need some tools to start off with and work with. But it's cool, because you can't actually plug in MIDI controllers. So if you have a MIDI controller, you can definitely use that with our system. So, yeah, it's a really cool little platform. It's kind of like a simplified version of like Ableton or something like that. But, hey, if you don't have anything, it's a great way to get started. And one of the main reasons that I wanted to get it built into the platform now. because I will note, and we'll talk about this in a minute, that this still is on beta. Very much on beta. But what I wanted to do in the future is start doing remix contests for, you know, for different tracks, starting off with some of my groove logic tracks. I've been working on a whole lot of stuff here recently. And... and I want to put some stuff out as, you know, for a remix contest, which would be me putting my song through the stem separator on BlockTunes, separating them out into stems, and then putting the stem files out for you guys to download and work with. And I understand that many of you might not have a computer that can run something like Ableton or Cubase or Pro Tools or something like that. Well, I've got a solution for you, for 20 bucks a month, $25 back dollars per month, or delegating 1,000 hive power to block tunes, that puts you into that gold tier level. So that gets you a full-on digital audio workstation that works directly in your browser. Your files all save within your browser, you know, so that you can, you know, just make sure, you know, you're not having any cash issues or, you know, anything like that. But you can download directly to your computer and then upload your files into the mastering booth on BlockTunes, get it all nice and polished up, and then mint them on to our streaming service. to where anybody on Hive can come in, listen to your songs, and you get paid per stream. It's really freaking cool. I've worked really hard on all this. Anyway, so yeah, I finally got that. big huge piece to the puzzle done, because what I did was, and, uh, is I discontinued the tune engine. I think I talked about this in last video. It was just taking up too much of the resources on my, uh, my main AI Mac. And I don't have the GPU set up for this machine yet. That's just too expensive for me to get right now, uh, to run the tune engine. So in replace of the tune engine, because I don't need a whole bunch of GPU and I do have monster CPU and RAM power on this machine, the digital audio workstation is the solution for that. So, go check it out, go use it. Fun times, right? So I'm hoping to get everything kind of finished up development-wise here within the next couple of weeks, because I am not going to lie, I need a break. I took a three-week vacation back in June, but that was just kind of a lot of driving and a lot of just going and this and that. So that was kind of, you know, hectic. And I was still looking in on stuff while I was gone. You know, I'd log in and check things, but I need a break. So I think I've fixed a good bit of the bugs and got this feature going. I'm going to run some more test stuff, and I'm still trying to find some good solutions for being able to offer free hive accounts and not have them abused. I did find where... most of the account token abuse that was basically stealing, I will say that they were stealing our tokens because, you know, my account creation tokens for BlockTunes and for the logical dude account for that matter, because my account's the backup, because I had a whole bunch from when I used to have a bunch of hive power back in the early days, I had accrued a whole bunch of account creation tokens. So that's what I've been using. for BlockTunes, you know, but I'm trying to build BlockTunes account up. That's why the 1,000 HP for the goal level is the ticket to all that, is because HP, it's not just trying, you're not just paying us for something. You're giving back to the community in different ways. You're helping the platform build those account creation tokens. You're helping us build high power for extra voting for curation and that kind of thing for music for the music community across Hive. So that's the kind of thing that we need Hive power for. And so the delegation right now is actually better than a subscription for, you know, for us. I mean, in the future, yeah, I'm definitely going to want some subscriptions because that helps build the streaming endowment, but that's a whole other thing, you know. So, I've got, you know, there's wheels spinning. There's wheels. going. They're all spinning, so I'm just, I'm wanting them to just all keep spinning without, when I'm stopping, the old one going crazy, and then I'm having, you know, so I'm just, yeah, you can see my ADHD's been on fire lately. So, so. I've got an event coming up Labor Day weekend, which is the first full weekend of September, where you see on this wall over here, my other passion and desire is little flying robots. And so I'm a freestyle drone pilot, and we got an event that I go and actually DJ at in BlockTunes is one of the official sponsors of Castle Crash this year, because I say so, and I am sponsoring my time, and I am... using the block tunes tools to create songs. I'm using our old tune engine in the background for things like sponsor songs and jingles and things like that that I'm doing for them. So, yeah, you know, so I'm going to start, I'm going to talk about block tunes and stuff while I'm there. I'm going to have a little display screen and that kind of stuff displaying block tunes. See if I can't get some more nerds online. We'll see. I don't know. But, you know, dude's got a dream. Anyway, I'm building everything I can for you guys, and now it's just, I need y 'all's help. I need y'all's help to build this grassroots marketing campaign. Go out, talk to other artists about BlockTunes, what we're building over here. Not just artists, fans, too, you know, just like, hey, you like music. You want to iron some crypto talking about music? Come check us out, you know? That kind of thing. So, yeah, hey. and crypto's starting to pump again. So maybe, you know, maybe it'll work. I don't know. You know, maybe people get excited about crypto again. That's my hope. I built really hard through the bear market so that if we start pumping up into a bull market, block tunes is going to run. So that's the goal, that's the hope, that's the plan.
