@ovey10: Wow...what an interesting post we've got here.. I am a novice swimmer and I really want to learn how to swim very well though not for competitive purpose but just for my leisure and to stay guard against unforseen circumstances. To be frank I find it very very very difficult to float on water, I have watched several YouTube videos about how to float on water but none helped out. I really need a live tutor who will put me through but they are hard to find where I stay. I have short videos where I tried to float and at some point I still drank water though from beginning it seems I was floating but it still didn't workout so I guess that was a luck on my side. I am currently trying the crawling type of swimming style with my belly faced downward while both my legs and hands paddle the water just like the first one you mentioned. The only difference is that throughout my swimming I try to keep my head up unlike the way I watched you deep your head inside the water and push it out. Honestly I find swimming very difficult but I am determined to learn it. I watched a video on YouTube where the tutor said we can float on water freely when we accumulate air in our lungs and suspend ourselves in the water. He said the water will automatically lift us up because of the air in our lungs but I almost stopped breathing forever the last time I tried it😃😃. I tried it but I didn't float on the water instead I went down the water and was beneath the water without any sign that I will go up, I had to lift my self up by standing on my legs. I don't know what could be my problem that I still cannot float though but I find your video very interesting and lovely to watched that at some point I wish I was the one swimming that good..
