@outwars: I guess the biggest hurdle will be how willing companies are in trying something new. I don't know how rigorous the Tesla testing was, but Semis are the backbone of the US, so they really need to be up to the task. The amount of gas and emissions saved though will be a lot of companies eventually convert to EVs.
