@outwars: I think the actual solution to getting AGI is still a big mystery. I assumed that it was just a matter of experience, data, and training. If given enough examples and answers, the AI should be able to do it on its own. That doesn't seem to be the case, or is not enough, so the quest to find it still continues. I think as more companies pursue it, the higher the chances that we eventually unlock it.
