@nicklewis: Hey don’t blame me! Lol! I think this is a brilliant tool, because connecting to multiple services can be very tricky at times.
A Raspberry Pi MIDI hub by @steevc on 3Speak
You can blame @nicklewis for this, but I have been getting into the world of electronic music lately. You can see my other post about the M-Vave FM1 synthesizer. I have some other devices and was w...

demo of some software I've just been trying. It's called RASPI MIDI hub. So basically, software runs on a Raspberry Pi there. I've got some things plugged into that. So into that, I plugged a nano control, which I'm not actually doing anything with. I've also plugged in my Akai MPK keyboard. The FM1 here is connected by Bluetooth, and it's sporting some new knobs that I've 3D printed today. And then on my tablet, I'm running basically the Pi acts as a hotspot that you connect to a Wi-Fi, and then you get access to this app that lets you patch things together, so you can see I've patched the keyboard to the FM1. So now if I press a key, So there's no physical connection between these things, but they are... Let's just turn that off, if I'm going here. What I can do, actually, is I've mapped, so I've got a virtual controller here. All I've done so far, if I press this, turns on the reverb. It turns on this one. Turns on the delay. So that's just been mapped to the effects in the FM1, and then obviously you can map all these other controllers, and it can do all sorts of things, it can do sequencing, arpeggiation, but you could connect up lots of MIDI devices all through the Pi for a complete setup and root your MIDI to your heart's content. It's free and it's cool.

@tibfox: That's pretty dope dude! I really like that you can wire the things on the frontend just like on a rack and even map stuff from the synth :D When I get some spare time some day I will get back at making music my own and will remember your video :D replied to 1:49 on 3speak.tv
@skiptvads: Rpi now days have become expensive, remember when I bought my first two to run Kodi, surprising if there is no lag between devices, have always love to thinker with this devices trying to get as much from low tech ✌️
@edwardstobia: This synthesiser is really interesting. I’ve been wanting a Boss VE 22 pedalboard it’s a vocal effects pedal that would definitely be a huge help in my guitar performances but I’ve found it a bit difficult to save up for it. I hope a miracle happens this year or next, ha ha ha
@videoaddiction: Must be satisfying to build something yourself that makes the whole setup easier to use ;)

@bpcvoter3: The Arithmetic Mathematics does not lie. When you add up the delegated Hive Power, the coordinated votes, the farmed rewards, and the suppressed voices, the arithmetic reveals a truth that no amount of rhetoric can obscure. The whales control the network. The data proves it. The math does not care about their denials. The Confession Every transaction is a confession. When a whale delegates millions of Hive Power to a farming account, it confesses its intent. When a coordinated network downvotes a truth teller, it confesses its fear. When funds flow from Blocktrades through proxy accounts, it confesses its control. The blockchain does not need to be interpreted. It simply confesses. The Pattern Look closely at the voting patterns. Look at the delegation chains. Look at the flow of funds from centralized exchanges through ghost accounts into farming rigs. The pattern is not subtle. It is not hidden. It is written in cryptographic stone, visible to anyone willing to trace it. The whales hope you will not look. Look anyway. The Alternative Another World Is Possible They tell you there is no alternative. They tell you this is the only game in town. They tell you to accept the extraction, the suppression, the lies. But another world is possible. A world where creation is rewarded. Where truth is protected. Where power is distributed. Where freedom is structural. Today, imagine it. Then build it. For in the end, the most radical act is to believe that another world is possible. The Ghost Accounts The Faces Behind the Masks @kriborin. @lessys. @arsahk. @buildawhale. @ipromote. @acidyo @jacobtothe @cwow2 @letusbuyhive @themarkymark. @poshtoken. @ocdb. @smooth. These are not just usernames. They are nodes in a network. They are the machinery of extraction. They are the ghosts that haunt the reward pool. Today, learn their names. Know their functions. Understand their purpose. For in the end, you cannot fight what you cannot name. The Courage to Speak Silence Is the Currency of the Corrupt There is a particular kind of evil that does not require action. It only requires your silence. Every day you choose not to speak, you are speaking. Every day you choose not to look, you are looking away. Every day you choose not to question, you are answering on behalf of those who profit from your compliance. The downvoting whales of Hive understand this. They know that if they can silence enough voices, the remaining ones will fall in line. They know that if they can label enough truth as "spam," the community will stop searching for signal. They know that your silence is their most valuable asset. Do not give it to them. Speak today. Share the data. Point to the ledger. Ask the questions they do not want asked. You do not need a million Hive Power to do this. You only need a voice and the courage to use it. For in the end, silence is not peace. It is the sound of a garden being salted.
