So, you know, on the internet, we go through all these different content creators on all these different platforms. So here we have Meno. He's on Twitter, he's on YouTube, he's on PigD, and Hive. In order to follow all of his content, you have to go to all three individually. And if you make a comment, then there's no chances necessarily going to see it. He might be on Hive that day, not on YouTube, you make the comment on YouTube, you don't see his content there. Or he doesn't see you even. You have the same problem with every other creator, really. They have many different platforms with many different pieces of content on those platforms. They don't maintain or follow all of them and follow all the comments. So it's really hard to get in touch with these content creators or reach out to them. We even have Van Dix here for Press for Truth on YouTube, on Peak D, on Rumble. Then you have Timcast, same problem, he's on Twitter. He's on YouTube. very thinly spread and you have to go to all these different platforms to follow these people. Last example I'll use here is they call me Dan on Hive. He has his Twitter account there. He has his Hive PeakD account there. He has his YouTube account there. So it's all different platforms. Now, these platforms will never work together. They always want to keep you siloed and they want to keep you on their own platforms. In comes a solution to this signal inbox on firstcontext.app. A first context.app is basically allowing people to go and grab content from across the internet, rewarding them, adding signal to that content so that they can make the content higher quality, meaning the information around that content. Is it fake? Is it real? What's the summary of the content? It's generally adding signal to the content. And then that content all ends up in your feed, where it's just one content creator, but it's got all of his platforms in one place. So I can go to Meno here, for example. I can click on his full profile. And I can see there he's got his tweets intertwined inside of his hive posts. And it should also be the same for his, there's another tweet of his. There's his YouTube video, there's his hive, so it's all. It's aggregating his content into one feed, so I don't have to go between all these platforms. Not only is it doing that, but Signal Scouts can nominate the best moments of the video. They can say why it's important, and then they can make their own comment regarding it. So I can read this and get a good idea of what this content is without having to actually consume the content. So it saves me a lot of time. It means I can go to my inbox and I can see all the content creators that I follow. when they last posted 22 minutes ago, 8 hours ago, 9 hours ago, and I can follow all of their work. So in a relatively short period of time, I can quickly see what's being posted about what the current day's news or trends are in my followers list. And I can also see other people that actually consume the content and write comments about it. So I can get a good idea of why it matters, what the Scout thinks. Is it real? Is it original? Is it authentic? Is it urgent? Or not, right? So, this is a really cool way to consume content. So let me show you how this works. So basically, I can go to this piece of content on Timcast, right? It's his most recent, a couple of days ago, that Trump got this apparent assassination attempt. So he survived it, people are talking about it. So what I can do is I can click here on this bookmark clip that I've installed. When you install those bookmarklets from the platform, in fact, I'll show you where you can go to Become a Content Scout, and you can just drag these things in. So you can drag them in there. Okay, so I'm going to make a thoughts on chain on this video, and I literally just click once here, and I just make a comment. Interesting times. Hope, I think says, sufferance from this geopolitical, but... Well, I'm not going to make any more comments on that, let's say. So I can just go catch, confirm, and that's it's on chain. I can go and view the content. I can see my comment there. I can reply. I can make a new thread. So this is kind of where we're at with just going to any site and just adding content to the high blockchain and posting your thoughts on it there. So now let's say I also want to demonstrate another platform. So let's demonstrate this gentleman Ruben Hasid on Twitter. Now he's actually not on Hive, but if I click, if I click into one of his content, his tweets or his exes, he's writing here about how to make AI sound like you. This is how to humanize any AI text in 30 minutes. So this is like, you know, you can read AI, you can tell it's AI, well, he's apparently come up with a way here to... make it sound like humans. So I'm interested in commenting on this, I just click thoughts on chain. And then it tells me, this is his username, and it asks me to confirm if anyone on Hive already, or anyone in the system already is similar, and I'm going to do no. Step two is this is actual Twitter name. Yes, it is, correct. And then we're actually having some problems with the images for Twitter, but let me try and actually... See if this works this time. It's going to do wrong image. I'm going to paste these URL, use this URL, yeah, it's a little bit. I'll do a bit of work there. It's okay. So because it's a new content creator, we don't just do the comment, we also oblige people to add signal for a new content creator. So on here I'm going to say, interesting. to see how this show approvability of human content and then we can just say it's an original post. Of course in here, this is unclear. You can say it's an original post. Of course, in here, this is the ad signal part. So you could say it's unclear. You can say it's a reaction. So I want to say it's an original post. You can say this is authentic, if it's AI or synthetic, if it's a repost or Jupy or if it's unclear, I'm going to say it's authentic. But this will allow us to identify fake content as well, put it on the blockchain. And then I'm going to say it's notable. Instead of it, because it's not a video, we're going to do a key quote, and that quote's going to be, let me see if I can just find this again. Yeah, let's do that. So there's your quote, and then why it matters. This potentially allows your AI generated speech to have a more human feel to it. So I can catch and post that. So now that's going to go on the blockchain. Let's give it a second to load. So there it is, I can view the content page. This was his tweet. This is my reaction to it, and this is my signal. And then I can even just reply to that on there. Let's have a look at another one. So this is Press for Truth. He's already on Hive. I believe he's already in first context as well. So on this one, it should know that it's actually an existing creator. and should just allow me to straight comment here. So I'm going to comment here. And of course, both of these guys are on Hive. Max Egan and Press for Truth are both on Hive, so got a bit of time for them. So just click the thoughts on Chain. Brings the content in. I hope to see more of Max and done on the Hive blockchain. And then I just do post. And that's it, it's on chain. Okay, so now I'm going to demonstrate, well, let's actually just go and have a look here. If you the content, so this is the content page. This is Press for Truth. They've got a Hive account as well, so they post regularly on Hive, but they've also got a YouTube account. There's my comment. So now I'm going to log in as a different, as a voting account. So let's just do this. So now I can come here and say, oh, I like that comment, or whatever it is, I'm going to give it a vote. So let's just do that. Well, just do vote. Confirm. And then it should give me the vote value here. There you go, so I got 50 cents from that vote. So now let's just go to the blockchain and actually show you what that looks like. So if I go to my comments and refresh the comments for Starkers. You see the vote values there? I go to full. So what this does is it creates a container post for the content creator, which is actually already created previously. And then it... Let's try to find the actual comment that I just did. So then it takes the same title of the tweet, which, and that's a link to the tweet there. It's a link to the YouTube video, I should say, because it was YouTube video. It says it was added by Starkers, and the creator was pressed for truth, and the comment was, I hope to see more of Dan and Max on the Hive blockchain, and there's the vote. So this is me earning votes for commenting on Web2 content on the Hive blockchain. And I can also go back and see some of the other comments I make, so I think this one was a signal, yeah. This is a new creator, so just three minutes ago, the Ruben Hasid creator was created. And there's a link to his tweet. And this is the signal that we added. Here's how to humanize any AI texts in 30 minutes. This potentially allows your AIA. generated speech to have more human feel to it. So, and by the way, the first context, so the actual link to the tweet is not monetized. The original content creator's container thread is also not monetized. Anything that's monetized is the actual signal that's been added, or the comment that people make. So that is first context. Let's see if I can demonstrate. That's why, okay, let me log in a stark as. So basically what it means, you see how already here I can, I can just comment, I can also add my thoughts from here. Post on Chain, confirm. Let's now go into Chain, but it's from, believe that this content, let's have a look, let's have a look at this content. Yeah, it was a Hive blog of his, the limits of dialogue. And of course, you can go to the source from here and check it. The other really, really cool thing that you can do, see how I'm not logged in? I can go to Peak D blog, right? You can see I'm already commenting there. But I can just click Thoughts on Chain without being logged in. Let's just read this real quick. Thinking about how you think hurts my brain. So just by clicking a bookmarklet, I'm able to post on Hive without being logged into any platforms. So this is getting super easy. In fact, if I do thoughts on chain on this again, it should take me straight to the conversation. So now you can see in here, there's a conversation. So I can reply to any of these. and just take part in the conversation. The same thing should be true of this now as well. So, if I'm not the first person to catch this and I click Thoughts on Chain, it already knows there's a conversation going on, and I can reply to that conversation, or I can add a new comment. So this is getting super interesting. I'm looking forward to what this does. I feel like it's a great way to add. value to information that's already online. It's a great way to reach out to content creators on Web 2 and see if we can bring them to Hive. And it's just a great way to demonstrate the Hive blockchain and earn for adding signal to information that's already online. Instead of creating your own original content on Hive and becoming, you know, everyone becoming the content creator. Now you can be a signal scout, so you can go and grab content from across the internet and add it to the blockchain. and then comment on it and give your take on it and earn from that. So, very interesting, I think. Cool way to use Hive and looking forward to people using this. This is currently the beta phase. So I'm looking for beta testers. Anyone, you see these EA credits, this means early adopted credits. So as people come in and test this and give feedback, you can give feedback down the bottom here. You can just click there and give feedback on whichever part of the platform that you're on. You can give a title summary, description of what the feedback is. You can attach screenshots. @bitmoving: The Web2 annotation layer concept has been attempted multiple times Hypothesis, Genius, early Disqus, Annotote but never achieved critical mass. The core reason wasn't technical; it was distribution. You need readers on the same URL at the same time who've all opted into the annotation layer, which is a brutal cold start problem. What's different here is the Hive backing gives you native monetization that previous attempts lacked. A reader who leaves a genuinely useful annotation on a high traffic article can now capture some of that value rather than giving it away. That's a real behavior change incentive that Hypothesis never had. I'm not sure whether that's enough to crack the distribution problem, but it's the most interesting new variable.
