Each of people gonna follow you might have disturbed me everything I meant and you with a... And now... Each of these teams can go deep into their bench grid. We'll probably see a lot of different looks in terms of rotations. Because of their collective depth, both teams can come at you in waves. Another great luxury about death, you can keep those fresh legs on the floor pretty much at all times. Let's check out Sacramento's starting lineup. Fox and Monk, near the guards. Barnes and Murray at the 3 and the 4. And it's a bonus in at the pivot spot, manning the middle. Monk against Thompson. Pass to Fox, takes a three, drops in the three. An area that Fox should continue to work on. When he's sinking threes, his offense becomes so much more dangerous. Here's Looney. Thompson outside. And they waste no time getting those three points back. That's how you up the ante, come right back at it. Yeah, I love the competitive fire right there. You drain a triple and us, and I'm coming for my revenge. Now here's the bonus to the paint. And Soponis slams it in. Love to see Sabonis get dominant like this. Defense has no chance to interfere. And to touch on Sabonis' game, his rebounding might not get it on credit, RJ. And it should be a, he's almost always a lot to be a top 10 rebounder in this league. He's a quality passer, and sometimes his glasswork falls under the radar. Here's Looney. Here's Thompson. It's rebounded by Sabonis. That was a good look for him from mid-range, but just couldn't make the defense bet. Fox against Curry. Outside Monk. Back to Fox, six to shoot. Off the mark there with a three. And the defense got away with one there. I mean, that's a shot he typically makes. And the basket by Looney. He was too focused on Wiggins scoring easy give to his teammate. Sacramento has gone one for three from beyond the art. puts the move on. Barry's it. He's two for four in this game. Starting to find his rhythm. He's cooking and he knows him. Yeah, when he gets engaged this early in the game, it's bad news for the defense. He can roll this start throughout the rest of the game. It's stolen by Barnes. Oh, the vicious dump by Barnes. And just good hustle, always nice to get an easy bucket on the break. And making sure they convert by finishing strong. Curry passes to Wiggins. And here is Thompson, Monk covers. They grab their own miss. Back to Curry, out to Thompson. Misses the three. Not his best efficiency this quarter, and look, sometimes that's how it goes. Here's Fox. Looney grabs a miss. The Warriors trailing. And it's green off to drive. Looney, finds Curry. The three from Thompson gets the trifecta. Thompson's got six points. One of the most effortless strokes we've ever seen. Thompson can just make corner threes in his sleep. Barnes is screen. Here's Fox. And is Seth and Curry with the rebound. just hasn't found much consistency from the floor, but his teammates have picked up the slack. Oh, the go-ahead bucket, no good. And here's Sabonis. He'll bring it up for Sacramento. They want to keep rolling here, following the win against Atlanta. And you'd have to think that luck played a part in that one. I mean, the opponent had an off night at the defense event, sure. It just seems like the defense wasn't interesting. They got away with one. Golden State calls timeout. Here we. are in the middle of the season. Let's see where the Western Conference stand is taking a look at Golden State. They are holding down the number one spot in the conference. Not a bad position to be in. And check it out the Kings. Now seven and a half games back. Right now for Sacramento, it really hasn't been the dominant season they were hoping for. But they're still in the hunt for a high postseason seed. From here on out, it's just about putting in the work. Coming to every game, ready to compete, and never giving less than your best. Sacramento has gone two for four from range to start things off. The three from Mitchell. It's rebounded by Golden State. Pulls up on the wing. That's another miss for him. He's two for six. The King's leading. Down low. Here's Vicenkov. And the layup is good off the glass. If the defense lets him inside, he will not hesitate. He'll gladly drop that thing right in the cup. Fast to Peyton. And here's Thompson for three. It's rebounded by Sabonus. Well, his shooting is unfortunately not a big thing and his lackluster accuracy is probably the thing that's keeping them behind. Here's Ellis. No point so far. Who poked away to the middle. Shots good by Sabonis. I like how aggressive Sabonis is inside. He just has a feel for how to score down there. Being left-handed also helps. Peyton. drills it from deep. Domitjel. And he's going for the Upe here. And so it's Sacramento, closing out the quarter with a seven-point lead. They know Curry. if you're just joining us. We played through one quarter in this one. All right, guys, let's get your take on the scoring breakdown for Sacramento. The ball movement has been outstanding so far. They've come out of the gate looking for that extra pass. You know, another thing that has impressed me has been their numbers of points in the paint, just dominating down there. They're just getting whatever shot they want in close. We've got Tobias Harris. He's out there with Dario Sharich. Stefan Curry is out there with Gary Payton second, and it's Pajinsky in at the shooting guard position. So that's the group out there for Golden State. Shots good by Sharich. Sharich just got his first bucket in this one. There was a rough start for them scoring the ball, but they look like now they're really finding their rhythm and flow. They doubling with Harris, locks for three. Here's McGee, and McGee with the stuff. VA, I'm not sure he should be flaunting around the rim like that. with this game so close. Oh, it's risky, but it sure did look good. And that was our AT&T, 5G slam cam, bringing you the sauce. Curry's shot is off. The Kings have gone just one of three to begin the second quarter. You know, when you look back on Stefan Curry's career, it's still amazing that he fell to the seventh pick of the draft. You think a few teams regret that one, B.A.? As great as a shooter as he is, teams were scared off by his build because he did have that typical NBA fan. The basket drops, and he gets fouled on the shot. One free throw coming his way. Looney's checked in for the Warriors. Wiggins comes in for Peyton. And we're scoring on the rise, RJ. Are today's defenders given enough leeway to do the job? Oh, absolutely not. Nowadays, a lot of minor contact is whistled for a defensive foul. Everything is, let's go to the monitor. Everything now is a flagrant one. So, it's like, defenses are out. operating at a very serious disadvantage. Let's check in with our reporter, Allie LaForce. Well, DeMontas and Deere and Fox are a great tandem. Sabonis said, quote, he lets me be me. A starting point guard usually doesn't like the big man bringing up the ball, but he lets me do my thing, and I feel like we feed off of each other. He's so fast. Can get to the rim, I can get him open, and then let him do his thing, so it works both ways. All right, Allie, thank you. Richard, now a veteran who's been around the league. Trey Liles understands his role and plays it really well. Yeah, which is to help space support with his shooting. He continues to prove how reliable he is from deep. I also really like his shot selection, VA. Curry finds Wiggins, Harris left side. The baseline, Jay, the game, the Warriors score! The mid-range doesn't intimidate Harris at all. He's very confident in his jump shot. Lyles, well, time pass, and he goes straight to the bucket for the lay-up. They're finding ways to get the ball into the paint. Five consecutive buckets. Curry passes to Wiggins, and here's Harris outside. And it's Sacramento with the rebound. Looking ahead to their next game, playing at Dallas, they'll match up against a Mavericks. And they've got a lot of road games ahead. That's game two of seven on this trip. And so it's Wiggins with it. He brings it up for the Golden State Warriors. Trailer by two, and yep, it's good. It's just his ability to adjust his shot, just ever so slightly. That's how Curry beats everyone with the content. Fox against Curry. Murray for three. Looney grabs a miss. Looney's got a six rebound on the night. Curry's shot is off. And he probably thought he was going to bury that one. Here's Monk. Oh, a clear foul there on the missed shot. So he'll get a pair at the line. How about the league must? One of the most potent scoring guards in the league, R.J. See, people forget B.A. that when Munk entered the league, he's only 19 years old. So it took him a couple of years to find that three-point stroke. Now, this man is instant offense and has zero fear out there. Yeah, they're really cashing in more at the line here in the second quarter. Thompson passes to Payton from the arc. Unable to hit from three. Missed Reliable. You can count on Brin to show up every night. Monk against Peyton. Monk into the lane. Cash is in the first attempt of the game. Monk's got four points now in the quarter. He just makes it look so easy on offense. Like, who takes pleasure and torturing defenses? He does. Payton's shot is good. And what's working here? Each guy is willing to make the next pass. The King's trailing. Pass to Sabonis. Wiggins against Barnes. Now Sabonis. And Sabonis slams it in. to know where Sabonis is, really box him out. He's so good on the offensive glass. Wiggins passes to Looney. Now, here's Green. Off target with the three. 34 seconds left to play in the second quarter. Sabonis with a screen on Looney, to the inside. Sabonis can't hit. Look, the defense was locked in on him there. They know how dangerous he can be, and they guarded him perfectly. And it's green missing. Barnes against Wiggins. Mitchell drives in. Off target at the rim. Stephan Curry. Getman done for the Warriors, eight points in the quarter, showing how effective he can be. We'll be right back. The Hes 31. Welcome, everybody, right off the back. Here's a hypothetical. If you guys were in your prime today, and could hop onto any team, who would you pick? That's interesting. And let's take a look at this first half of play for the Kings. Not a lot of separation here at the midway point. Well, I like what they're doing. Play to your strengths. And that's it for halftime. Thank you for... And we're halfway through this one. Plenty of basketball left in a game. That's been a fairly even one. Man, it's been quite a game for Stefan Curry. They've leaned on him to provide a lot of offense, and that's how he likes it. He always wants to be a go-to guy for them. I'm sure he'll be calling for the ball even more in this half. Checking out the group from Mike Brown to start the second half. Murray and Sabonis are the bigs. Box and Monk, they're the guards, and it's Barnes, and at the small forward position, puts it up from 12, and nails the jumper. the king shooting efficiently. 50% so far. Pass to Subonis. Going inside, and Sabonis slams it in. Using that momentum as a launching pad, Sabonis showing some athleticism with the finish. Curry passes to Looney. Wiggins from long range, and Wiggins knocks down the three. Backlusted defense showing no desire to chase shooters off that line. Second half, getting started, about a minute play. Fox against Curry, inside. Here's Sabonis. The basket's good. Off the assist from Fox. Subonis has got four points now in the quarter. Ooh, he is in the zone offensively. Sabonis is making good selections and playing with great... intensity right now. Golden State is gone, 7 to 14 from the perimeter in this one. You know, Richard, when it comes to excelling in every facet of being a guard, the Aaron Fox is that guy. And there's no question, he can take over with the scoring and get his teammates and ball B.A. He is a pest on defense. This man does it all. Pass to Fox, outside Barnes. Just a little over 90 seconds gone in the third quarter. Clock at 6. Here's Fox. And Sacramento again with the bucket. Three straight buckets to start the half. This is how they wanted to come out and execute. On the wing, Thompson. It's Wiggins on the wing. Jacks up at three. He drops it from range. Wiggins has got eight. This has been a nice start to the second half. in the rhythm from the offense right now. Now a timeout called by Sacramento. to come in, see how things start to look. You take a look at Curry, he's collecting plenty of votes and could break into the Western Conference's top 10. Yeah, I know he wants to climb the list a little bit, but no denying that those are all very talented guys up above him. And what a night it'll be. We'll keep you updated on the latest results during voting. And that one's good. And their office a game plan is clear. Get it inside and go to work. Wiggins passes to Looney. Out to Thompson, green with the ball. Thompson outside. Out of bounds, it'll go to the Kings. Here's a look at what's coming up for the Golden State Warriors. On Saturday, they'll be matching up with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Then on Tuesday, they'll go up against Chris Paul and the Philadelphia 76ers. When you look ahead, there are a lot of winnable games, but you really can't think that as a player. You have to take every opponent seriously, because this is the NBA. No game is a freebie. And the Warriors making a switch here. Harris has checked in, and let's swing it over to the sideline and hear from Ali. Brian the King's finally last season, staffed their 16-year playoff drought. Coach Mike Brown said, quote, you take a job to try and build a championship level team. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But you have to believe, we are going to keep working, and we will get there. Brian? That's what he's all about. He's the reigning coach of the year, Ali. Thank you. Here's Liles. Yes, and it's Murray picking up the assist. Now it's a five-point King's lead. I love it when young players add elements to their game. If Murray can continue to pass like that, he'll be tough to slow down. That's a very quick points for him on that possession. Curry's got 10. And you can expect him to make it when the D is trash like that. Box for three. Looney grabs a miss. He had more than enough room to hit that. just couldn't make it happen. Wiggins passes to Harris. Good setup. Let him to the rack perfectly for the layup. And it's now just a one-point Sacramento lead. And so it's Fox with it. He'll bring it up for Sacramento. Pass to Sabona's. There's 57 seconds left in the third. And the Aaron Fox, good for three. 13 points in the game. Showing that quickness that time, Fox getting rid of it in a hurry. Thompson passes to Harris. Here's Looney. Oh, Looney, fighting through contact. 43 seconds left in the third quarter. Fox, the pass to Sabonis, and there's the drive. Count the basket. Sabonis has got 10 points in just the second half. I mean, they've been relentless, just keep getting shots at the rim. And Looney with the slam. Just an unselfish play from Curry, always ready to move the ball and his body to help an open shooter. There's the AT&T 5G slam can, capturing the moment. Fox, the pass to Mung. Back to Fox, shoots over Curry. That one rolls around and rims out. Golden State has gotten two of four threes to fall here in this third quarter. Out to Thompson, Harris outside for the lead. No luck on that one. Fox outside. A step back shot, and he hits the jumper. And the Kingsley by four. And his fantastic performance from the last game has carried over to tonight. He's just riding the wave of momentum right now. It's been all about DeMontasabonis for Sacramento. He put together 10 points in the quarter. All right, we'll get back to the action after this break. And now we have a moment to reveal our State Farm assist for the game. Talk about painting a magnificent picture with that die. Just a great decision and a perfect delivery. A lot of times, a spectacular pass is more impressive than a spectacular shot. This is one of those times. This is, goes to... Well, what a terrific game it's been so far. With this fourth quarter, sure to bring more pressure-packed basketball. We've got Tobias Harris. Gary Payton, the second, is out there with Kenyon Martin. Then there's Stefan Curry, and it's Pajemski in at the two-spot. That's the Warriors 5. And this is just typical of him, always making an impact at crucial moments in the game. And his team needs every bit of his production if they want to hold this one out. It is neck and neck here in the final period. That's three buckets in a row, off assist. Martin would pass to Harris. Martin, outs out. Pass to Pachimski. puts up a three. And the Kings also making a change. Monks checked in. Let's go now to the sideline and catch up with Ali LaForce. Mike Brown was just reviewing the plan with his team. Coach was urging his team to play strong defense, reminding them no easy hoops, give effort and help when needed. They do say defense wins championships, guys. Ali, thank you. Passed at the Jimski. Back to Wiggins. You see the strength that Wiggins has added over the years. He can take on pretty much anyone at this point. Outside Monk. To the paint. Oh, a great one-two punch. Beautiful pass and a nasty jam. This sends it home with some passion. I think he's rubbing it in a little bit here, hanging up there like that. Fox feeling it out of it. Pass to Lyles, fires for three. Yes, and a nice assist from Fox. Fox has got seven assists in the game. Wiggins finds Harris, and there it is for him. Standing execution through contact. That's one of the things that's underrated about Harris. He is six foot nine. Time out call, Sacramento. and something fans don't always get to see some of the closely guarded secrets that happened in that huddle. And we see it so often one little tweak to the game plan and everything falls into place for a team. Box for three, it's rebounded by Golden State. points in the quarter. This is just fun. These teams are trading threes back and forth. This is today's NBA. Hey, we see this kind of the game here. Substitution for your warrior. And so Curry will bring it up for Golden State. Six-point game. Past to Looney. Back to Thompson. Here's Curry. That shot off. Oh, some solid defense from Fox. Two minutes permitting in the game, two minutes. Outside Monk. Shutes over Thompson, and it's Monk missing. The Warriors have gotten five of their seven shots to fall in this final quarter. Pass to Wiggins, on the wing Thompson. Here's Green. with the rebound. Sacramento has gotten three threes to fall out of four attempts here in the fourth. Down low, Murray, rebounded by Green. They've done a great job of moving the ball tonight. Rebound goes to the Warriors. A minute four left in the game. From deep. in the clutch, he has hit big shots time and time again for this squad. Green, the pass to Thompson. Oh, wow, a huge basket to tie the game. When it count, you want to get the ball to Clay Thompson, where he can do something special with it. Here's Fox. Yeah! And this is the trust that Fox's teammates have in him. What a shot right there. About three seconds between the shot clock and the game clock. Oh, wow! A huge basket to tie the game! What a big moment for Clay Thompson with the game off the grass. He comes a huge pressure. What is that? 20 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter of this one. We've got more NBA basketball coming. And now we get set for overtime in what has been a stirring contest. The core of the Warriors Dynasty on the floor. Curry and Clay is the guards with Dremont at the floor. Andrew Wiggins is out there with Kavan Looney. Sabonis finds Fox. And Fox powers at home. A monster night for Fox. You can call him a point guard. I call him a scoring guard, because that's what Deerrin brings. Oh, a strong finish from Curry. There's no chance that this…
