Well, what a sight this is, a beautiful evening and the promise of a match that will really get the juices flowing. I'm Peter Drury, and here with me in the commentary box, I'm glad to report, is Jim Beglin. Hi, Peter, it's great to be here. It is a deep, deep sea of yellow, beautifully effervescent yellow. That is what you're faced with when you come to Dortmund. So it's down to business here. I think this is a formation that offers excellent balance, Peter. Particularly tried and tested in the Italian game, of course. Yeah, and exported with great success too, because it allows half of the team to commit to either attack or defense. The three at the back and the double pivot, as well as the three attackers and two wide men. Teams often switch between this and 433 by dropping one of their pivots. into the defensive line. It's very adaptable. A good play on the left-hand side here. He's in plenty of space here. It's a promising position. He's found a way past. Messies cross. Oh, that's a fine interception. Now the opposition are going to have to find something pretty special to stop Liddell Messi today, aren't they, Jim? Yeah, the man is an absolutely born winner. You just feel that with him on the pitch, anything is possible. And what's more, he brings out the best of his teammates? Yeah, I think he just gives them that confidence that they can overcome whatever the opposition throws at them, and he leads by example, of course, and we'll probably come up with something. And this is Kane, and the shots! Truly superb. A goal of such supreme quality, composure and class. It was wonderful vision to see the movement ahead. And how about the weight of that pass? Ideal. I doubt very much that this was in the script. And he plays one through. Oh, that's well spotted. Well, a glitch with the rangefinder there, and evidence annoyance. clearly is Mift having made the run and not get picked out. That is MIFT having made the run and not get picked out. That is headed for the middle. Pimenez clears it away. Well, he certainly wasn't in the mood to take any risks. They've got to make this nice and quick. Stood up well to him there. Kaysedo. And if you have just joined us, still just one goal between them. And the score is 1-0. Fernandez. He's shifting through the gears here. Sonhumin! And yes, it's there! That is remarkable, all square in a matter of moments. Yeah, since going a goal down, they've dug in to produce a really fine spell, which for me deserved that equalizer. Oh, delicious, such devilish curl! And you can see he meant every bit of that, Peter. He had his head up as he went to hit it. He knew his landscape. So they have it all to do again. Well, I think the players will be buoyed by the fact that they've managed to level things in a hurry. Tails most definitely up now. And this is Kane. That has been slow wide. And he's certainly on side here. It's Sonshumhung-Go! Borussia Dortmund! And the comeback is complete! That really is quite fabulous, all his own doing. Well, this is what we've been waiting for. Well, that's really wind of the opposition. You can see their manager screaming on the touchline, telling his team to calm down, but they'll need to do that pretty quickly. It's composure from here. Yamal has got the wrong side of the referee and got himself a yellow card for his troubles. Bumps him off it and wins back the ball. Just about midway through the first half, and it has been an engaging watch. He's picked his way through, Song-Hung-min. Oh, so close to what would have been a memorable goal. That's great running from him, determined, committed and getting on the front foot. Robertson, and Bape, locked in behind. Well, there is a look that says it all, a piercing stare. Well, the pass wasn't good enough, and he knows it. receives it in a wide position, Messi, too much on it, and that is an easy claim for the keeper. Kamafinga, Fernandez. That pass isn't the best. Time perhaps for one last twist before halftime. Pass is just off target. Kanji gets it clear. Oh, lovely bit of skill, pinches it off him. Messi. And he's being shifted off it. Jimenez kept to wear, and it is reclaimed easily. Mbapé, looking for options for movement. Oh, easy pickings there. And this is Kane. Nicely shaped ball. Now it's Yamal. And needless to say, that deserved better. What a pass. Wunda literally dropped into his path. It was asking to be finished. And we have our very first quarter. Touring header! Not a bad try by any means. Fernandez. And Alexander Ronald. Two added minutes has been indicated. That pass has been well intercepted. We are into stoppage time. Now it's Kane. It's Kane! And collective relief etched on the faces of the defenders. So, a temporary halt to the action. Well, the school light at half time, a fair reflection of things overall. You'd have to say that. There was certainly no lack of effort or endeavor in the first half. The midway point of the game. Well, I can tell you it's been an absolutely fantastic watch, Peter. I wish I could come here every week. It's been wonderfully open, wonderfully tense, and beautifully unpredictable now. So that's it for the first half, and everyone takes a well-earned rest. The second half is up and running. Chelsea really need to bring up their intensity and rhythm and otter too, Peter. Just looked at a step too slow on everything. Valverde picks it up out wide. That's an excellent interception. Kane has found the net here, of course. It's a pretty loose pass. Allison, Jimenez, and it's Fernandez. Well, he's felt that, hasn't he? Yamal, the ultimate schemer, the supplier in chief. Oh, he's having a go! Oh, fight, stopped from the keeper. I think he's done great there, both reading it and dealing with it. Now it's Fernandez. Fernandez going forward. Camovina, too well to step in there. That was more than necessary. Chelsea, needing a change of fortune here. Alexander Arnold. The attendance for this match was $16,179. Alexander Arnold is the guilty party there. The referees come over. It's a red card. Horatia Dortmund are down to 10 men. Akanji, Kamafinga, and Alexander Ronald. Oh, this looks sharp, and this is Kane, wriggles his way through, he's found some space. Takes a shot! Oh, it's fallen loose again! And that's a tidy finish! Again! We all level! What's a contest! Well, this is just incredible. I mean, who would have seen this? Neither manager, I think. It's all happening. Some heroic goalkeeping, but even that couldn't save them this time. Well, Peter, I know from experience there are players who always seem to know where the ball's going to end up. This isn't about look at all, despite what people say. Just keep an eye on his movement. What is compellingness, utterly compelling. This is exactly the kind of contest you'd expect. A great leap! Good run, lovely take, but that is where it stops. Well, you have to say how clever the pass was. It caught the fence off guard because of the disguise on it, and it makes all the more disappointing that... There's the header! It's in! And the game is well and truly turned on its head! That is a fine goal, really efficiently done. So well played, Peter, did a great job keeping sight of the ball, made a classic move and met it perfectly. Chelsea have their lead. I think there's been a greater menace to everything they've been doing during this spell, one that they hope will continue. Just eases him off the ball. Nice interception, his positioning was spot on. Just about up to 75 minutes. Mbapé, and here's Kamovinger, tries to pass it through. They may end up with some regret with this tactic, but you have to admire their commitment to goals. That is a little undercooked. Fernandez. And it's Jimenez. He is Drew here. Cicdo. And a shot. It's loose now. That's another chance. And that's in. Two ahead, late in the day. And he's only too grateful to capitalize on the keeper's misfortune. That's great movement from him. He instinctively knew that the ball was going to come back out and put himself where he needed to be, the sort of thing you just can't teach. And he's done it again, he's got his second. Chelsea, now in a position far more desirable. While their manager seems to have them always thinking about the next goal. When's the next goal coming? They're such a chance, surely! It's run loose, who's going to get there? Alexander Ronald. Great chance! And kept out by the most elastic of saves! While someone's doing his job properly, Peter, that's for sure. Nearly, but not quite. He's got to be disappointed, but good chance here. He's got away with one there. Well, it wasn't the best pass, was it? The apologetic look says it all, really. He knows he could have got his team in real trouble then. Valverde. Valverde ventures forward. And he's managed to gift it back. And it's messy minutes added time. He steps in, and that's the end of that. Kane, and he was quick to react. Ains beyond the... Oh, shooting chance! And the whistle's gone, presumably for offside. And that's it. Many thanks to Jim, and with that, it is a very good night to you. Don't have you making their way home on public transportation today, please watch the screen for train departure times from all the...
