Welcome to those who have joined us all here on a beautiful clear evening. The conditions contributing to a fantastic atmosphere in the stands. This really is the place to be. Right, Peter Drury, and seated in the expert's hot seat is our man Jim Beglin. Cheers, Peter. It's a privilege to be here. It really is. And the mood is boisterous. It is a perfect ambiance for the central characters. who are ready now to perform. So things are underway. Yes, of course, round two between these two. I wonder what we'll expect this time. All he needs to do is to place this between the goalposts and basically let them attack it. Cleared without hesitation. And now a sudden chance to counter. Oh, that's a fine challenge. And here's Agahawa, and this is Rabi, and the finish! It's in! It had to come, it just had to come, he had to have his say! Just gorgeous, the most glorious, delicious of touches, furred up with an honoring finish. Yeah, the right touch in moments like that is key to what follows, all very neat and tidy. So a breakthrough already. Yamal, showing good feet, Yamal's crook. Impressive jump! It's a goal! Not one, but two. It is a dream start. Simple, certain, effective. He just guided it in. So well played, Peter, did a great job keeping sight of the ball, made a classic move and met it perfectly. They're starting to look very comfortable. Yeah, it's all happening now. There's been a nothing of the intention and emergency, a real step up in possession and purpose now. YAMBOL! It's loose now, this time, surely! He's got away with one there. is their second corner of the game. That's a decent clearance. And now they can spring out a defense. And he's being shifted off it. That's a cute ball. Last ditch defending, but that'll do. Simione. He'll try for distance, glorious! A finish of Trueclass! And they're threatening to fly away here. An opportunist strike, but he'll take it, he will own it. A keeper might have been a little unsighted. He seemed awfully late reacting to that. Juliano Simeone. A case now of complete control. To be expected, Peter, they've gone and stepped it up, something they've been threatening to do and will continue to do by the looks of it. Getting up there! And somehow, he's managed to miss it. Look, we've all been there. Nothing will make him feel much better at the moment. Fernandez, and it's Alexander Arnold. Looking for a runner. And he has slightly undercooked that one. Chelsea clearly didn't help themselves by telegraphing that one. It was always going to be intercepted. Oh, that's fabulous. Now the ball in. Oh, the balls went loose here. I think that's great defending. He just made sure he was in the right place to block it. I bet you the keep is very relieved. Chats for a shot! He is through here. And again. Decent attempt, but not quite good enough. I think it's a very fair effort, Peter, considering he didn't have. And a chance! That's just playing it safe and simple. Almost half an hour in now. Short changes him with that pass. Pass is coming off in quick succession here. Now it's Watarra. Rabio. knocks it into space, could move up a gear here. Well, that was a period of possession, which carried just about no threat at all. Fernandez, and here's Yamel. Lamin Yomal really needed to concentrate on protecting the ball. Then again, he was being very closely marshalled. ripping it up. The movement so precise, the finish sumptuous. The big chance! He stirred it beyond the post. He'll be irritated with that, Peter. He really did spring into life as he made his run. Jordan Henderson, Jensen, half-time coming up, and little doubt as to which of the two sides is the happier. It's come to nothing. Kamavinga, and Simione, Rabio. No, he's just misjudged that one, and it's been hooked away. Jordan Henderson, Jensen, this is a promising build -up. Akanji gets a foot in here. Spread it left. Fernandez. Yamal, and it's Fernandez. Jensen. They've got to make this nice and quick. Rabio, looking understandably energized after his goal. And here's Yamal. Now he's off and running. That's been cut out, well played. Camavinga. Now it's Simeone. Yamal, he leaps for it! Oh, and that is a thrilling end to the first 45. Well, what a half they've had, cruising to victory, and it's only half-time. Astonishing. Chelsea really are in control here. They've done exactly what they set out to do. There's a genuine flow about their football and some of the stuff they've played so far has been great on the eye. Chelsea looking unstoppable, unbeatable, and in case you're wondering, yes, that really is the scoreline. Things are looking good for our boys as they go off for their well-earned break. Let's keep this up. Everyone, please welcome our players. Substitution on the field. So, let's get the ball rolling. Number 21, Juliano Sivion. Just eases him off the ball. Number 20, Yomar. Now at Sumpapay. The chip pass hasn't quite come off. on the field, number 9, K, number 15, Rwaffe. Stood up well to him there. He's beaten the last man. Wobiton. Fajoli. No, he's not going to get any further than that, and this is Messi. Shin to shin, bicep to bicep and he wins out. Kaisado, and it's Ravio, and Robertson, Akanji, and it's Kaine. Well, that's good defending. He squeezed the play and he gave him no chance to get on the turn. Watara. That's really well manoeuvred. In towards the back stick. That has been knocked away. He's done very well to take that back. Played back. Terrific effort. Put out the best in the keeper. It's almost like he had too much thinking time there, Peter. Ubape. No, that's been intercepted. Lovely pass, but can he get there? And... to a heavily one-sided scoreline. This is getting polishing. Well, it's a gold fest, and the fact that so much-sided now is getting scary. Chelsea are having a ball here. Mbapap to Rabio. He's shifting through the gears here. Defending was strong and firm. Van Dyke, and it's Robertson, Akanji, and Caicedo, and it's Ravio, now it's Zumpet. Looking for options, for movements. Well, a few of his teammates are quite furious with him as they felt they were within reach, but he made nothing of it. His boss doesn't look too amused. Well taken goal! That really is quite fabulous, all his own doing. I'm not making any apologies, but I was willing him to supply the finish, and he came up trumps. Well, they may be down, and they're in no mood to go quietly, bumps him off it, and wins back the ball, threads one in, whatever happens, that's the kind of movement which raises hope, Akanchi. Watanah tries to pass it through, and now at Sumbape. There's a sharp little ball here. He's had a shot! Oh, good finish! And the chasm continues to widen, a brutal statement that underpins where these teams are at. It's a mass exodus now. Certain sections of the stadium are leaving in droves. and you can't blame them. And now he has two. So we have further activity on the bench here. This is a gloriously greedy performance. And they can counter here. Aimed beyond the defense. Half an hour gone in the second half an hour gone in the second half. Rabio, and he's picked it up out wide, Rabio. Now looking to orchestrate a counter, and here's Nelson. Well, now here's a good battle, bicep to bicep to bicep. Now it's Mbap, and now the breakaway. Rabio Fajuli! Here comes to corner. Corner number three coming up. That should get the job done. And now a sudden chance to counter. He's picked his way through. That's great defensive work. It doesn't take too much imagination to guess what would have happened otherwise. Oh, I was on the edge of my seat then. He just took on one too many. Now, what about a counterattack? Oh, well measured. It's a promising position. Now it's Nelson. Nelson showed plenty of zest in getting to the ball, but couldn't quite sort it out. The most accurate pass. That looks a decent ball. Boy, he's found support out wide. There will be three minutes at a time. Jordan Henderson. Ford shows there will be three extra minutes. Great vision. Oh, well played, well sorted out. Caycedo. And that is that. Chelsea win it. And it's a big win, and they can look back on a job well done. So what do you take away from it all, Jim? Chelsea.
