The fiddles in the makeup got a... The mother shaking, skur-skirt, about to make it work, work for the baby, and box in the n-knit, too much. Forgiados on a man, too much. Too much. The Golden State Squad, coming through the tunnel earlier, with the Warriors faithful anxiously awaiting their arrival on the court. Greetings, it's 2K... Now that we're into the new year, how about a check on the Eastern Conference standings? You look at Toronto, at the midway point of the season, they're in fourth place in their respective conference. You know for the Raptors, it really hasn't been the dominant season they were hoping for. But they're still in the hut for a high postseason seed. From here on out, it's just about putting in the work. Coming to every game, ready to compete, and never giving less than your best. Now, let's take a look at Toronto's starting lineup. Yacop Pertil out there with Scotty Barnes. Then there's Emmanuel quickly. Then it's R.J. Barrett, and it's Trent in it to two. And for Golden State. the core of the Warriors Dynasty on the floor. Curry and Clay is the guards with Draymond at the fore. Then it's Andrew Wiggins, and it's Jackson Davis in at the center position. Just four to shoot. Trent shot is off. And so it's Wiggins with it. He brings it up for Golden State. Here's Jackson Davis. And a miss there on the triple. Quickly against Wiggins. Quickly outside. Here's Barrett. That went a little long. When it comes to Golden State over the last 10 to 15 years, what stands out to you the most, RJ? Just the fact that you can never count out the Warriors. Every time they've gone through adversity, they seem to come out of it even stronger. The team-first mentality of Thompson, when someone on his squad is open, he finds them. The open shot by Bards, Warriors with the rebound. They defeated Detroit in their last game. Talk about strong offensive production. They went out late to their strengths and were successful as a result. And no team is going to shoot 50 % every night, but this team has the right approach when the shots are falling, they can light it up. And here are the Raptors now. The Warriors getting their last shot to go. Twiggins against Trent. A shot to stop the run. And again, no good by Toronto. 1-05 to start the game. They have to slow down and just play their brand of basketball. Here's Jackson Davis, covered by Purtle, shoots it from the high post, quickly with a rebound. The Raptors have gone 1-5 to start things off. Pass to Barrett, hurdle with the ball, lets it go from 11, second chance effort, and that one goes in as he's foul. It'll be three points if he converts the free throw. First team foul. And Barrett, no good on that one. Well, Grant, for R.J. Barrett, he pretty much knew he was going to be an NBA player. Oh, VA, he sure did. The number one prospect out of high school in Florida in 2018. Did his one and done in college at Duke and followed it up with the number three overall pick. And he has definitely delivered. The Raptors have gone two for seven, a sluggish start. Quickly from outside, gets the three ball to go. And that ties it up. And that's what they want to do. Get him open looks early. The three from Thompson fires in the triple. The moment that last three win in, Thompson must have been thinking, get me the ball, I'll answer it with the three. The three, Barrett, Warriors with the rebound. Jackson Davis has got five rebounds tonight. Green finds Curry. Three-pointer, no good. And you never want to give a shooter like him a clean look. There's the double with Thompson. It's Barrett on the wing. Outside Barnes, passed to quickly. Off the mark there with a three. Golden State is gone to five from deep. Wiggins passes to Green. Shoots over Barnes. Outside for Green, it's Wiggins on the wing. Misses the three. Yeah, and the defense really respects his shooting ability, and they showed it with that tight coverage. Pass to Purtle. Nice dish, and the layup goes down. Pertil's got his second bucket of the night. Intelligent basketball. Keep feeding the hot hand. Thompson with it. Outside for Green. Curry with it. Thompson outside outside. Back to Curry, over quickly, and there's Curry on the assist by Thompson. Such a quick release, as soon as the ball touches his hands, it's gone. Quickly against Wiggins. And now they decide to foul intentionally. I mean, I'm just not sure what he was thinking right there. I mean, he needs to get his head in the game. And some changes here for the Raptors. O'Lenix checked in for Scotty Barnes. Nora comes in for Barrett, and it's Dick, in for Trent. Here's Nora. He's averaging just around eight and a half points a game. That's how you want to see them crash to glass. They've been out-hustled so far. To the middle, there's Pichensky, and that's good. His first bucket of the game. He can really read the floor. Precision pass in rhythm. Here's Dick. That three's off the mark. Oh, and a fast break. for the Warriors, and he goes strong with the one-handed jam. Great teamwork on that drive, punctuated by a strong finish. Yeah, that's night's execution, running the purpose and creating an easy scoring opportunity off the break. And we've reached the end of the first quarter. The Warriors ahead, they lead by... Those of you just tuning in. Second Quarter action is where we are. All right, guys, what do you think so far about the offensive approach for the Warriors? The ball movement has been outstanding so far. They've come out of the gate looking for that extra pass. You know, another thing that has impressed me has been their numbers of points in the paint, just dominating down there. They're just getting whatever shot they want in close. They've got Gary Payton the second. Kivan Looney is out there with Tobias Harris. Then there's Stefan Curry, and it's Pajinsky in at the two-guards spot. That's the Warriors Five. But Grant, one of the things that keep Raptors fans positive is the youth that's represented on this roster. Yeah, they've got a great core BA, and lots of young guys on this team. But they're missing a star, yeah, probably, but they can be dangerous. The way that Curry reads the floor, he could get double-digit assist on any night if you wanted to. To the paint, here's Olenik with a jam. And what an aggressive move to the ramp. He's really trying to fire up his teammates right now. Boy, it's not hard to feel inspired after a teammate makes that kind of finish. And that could be the spark they needed to make a little run as they try to even this thing up. Trying to find a spark here. Yes, indeed, a rough stretch offensively. They could really use a basket. To the inside. Olinick, two shots, two makes. Off to a good start. and you like the balance here, not just falling in love with the three ball. And so Curry will bring it up for the Golden State Warriors. They'll be playing host to New Orleans for their next one. Outside Peyton, pass to Pajemski. The three is up. Another three for Golden State. Oh, man, they're having a hard time defending the triple. That's three in a row. Curry against Barnes. Inside, here's Ollemic, and it's Ollemic with a jam. When guys are moving the ball, sharing it, it makes the game so much more fun, both as a player and as a fan. Harris on the wing, launches a three, gets the three to fall. Harris, he's got six. A dozen consecutive points off of threes. This defense looks rattled. Barnes in the post, guarded by Peyton. Barnes, no good. Nice rebound. Trying to match the other team's intensity right now. Over to the left wing, Looney finds Peyton. Now here's Curry. The three-pointer off the mark. Well, now that we're into the thicker things here this season, Grant, we start to get a clear picture of how these teams are gonna look this season. Yeah, B, this is where it really all starts to come into focus. Offseason trades have either paid off or fizzle. And squads have had time to bond. It really gets stronger. Looking at the 2K leaderboard, here are the teams that have been consistently dominant on the offensive end of the floor over the last month. The Warriors, second. This is not a team you want to face right now. They are locked in on the offensive end. The Warriors have gone four for six here on the second. And he drives in, and there's a whistle. He'll head to the line to shoot two. Now a moment to take a look at the year-to-year scoring output and how it's been trending for Gary Trent. And the scoring trend over the last few years has been going down a bit. That's not what you want, and I'm sure it's something he's well aware of. He's off on the first. And throughout this run, the Warriors defense has been an underrated part of their success, Richard. And that's what they've got to get back to, especially on the road. Defending at a high level is critical if you're going to get back to the mountaintop. Barrett up top. Down low. Here's the Leibick. Knocked! He's pushing it up now. The shot by Pajemski, no good. And he's usually able to score on that type of defense rather easily. Surprising to see him come away in deep. You like how Barrett always keeps his eyes open, watching the court for those assist opportunities. Thompson outside. Let the three fly. Oh, Tomp! last buckets they've given up have been from downtown. Quickly against Green. Now here's quickly. Not a lot of room. More of a positional defender. That time, Green sends it back. They've had a slight leg up on the boards and a big leg up on the scoreboard. Thompson's shop is off. And he probably thought he was going to bury that one. Quickly, passes to Barrett. Back to Quickly. Here's the floater, and the layup is good. Quickly's got five. They're finding ways to get the ball into the paint. Five consecutive buckets. To the inside. Oh, play, Thompson delivers. The assist numbers certainly stand out. They've really emphasized ball movement here today. Back to quickly, here's the three. The Warriors pull it in. This game against Toronto here, it's their first look at the Raptors. They didn't give up a single victory to this team last regular season, which went according to script. See, it's Clay's accuracy that makes him so hard to stop. He's a constant threat from range. Shot clock and game clock, one second differential. Quickly against Green. From 13, it's rebounded by Golden State. Jackson Davis has got seven rebounds in the game. The basket drops, and he gets fouled on the shot. One free throw coming its way. You love how physical Green is willing to get, enduring the foul, and finding the bottom of the bucket. Free throw good, Green. It's Clay Thompson making highlights for the Warriors. Hit a couple from downtown this quarter. All right, Ali's ready to go. She's court side. Hey, Ali. Guys, thanks. Andrew, this team has set the tone at the defensive end. What's working for you? We've got after it. You got some main thing, you know, just... Okay, Ali, appreciate it. And folks, we'll be back after halftime to begin the third quarter. Greetings, folks, at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, it's the Cavaliers winning over the Spurs. They were cruising by the time this one got to the final moments. And fellas looking now with the first half of play, ground to make up a major deficit for the Raptors. Thanks for joining us! The big gap on the scoreboard. The second half begins with very different goals for these teams. One side trying to mount a comeback, one side trying to protect their lead. And you know, Clay Thompson has been really making it happen, guys. Yeah, in the first half, he taught a class on how to make your teammates look good. What stuck out to me was how easily he read the defense and found those cracks for his guys to exploit. Check it out the group for Darko Ryakovich to start the second half. Gary Tren is out there with Emmanuel quickly. Then it's R.J. Barrett, then there's Yaka Purdle, and it's Barnes, and at the four spot. It's stolen by Purtle. A chance here to catch up with Ali from the sideline. Well, RJ Barrett, the third overall pick in the 2019 draft, still a long way away from his prime. He said, quote, people think you should make this huge leap out of nowhere, and it's like if you just add one or two things to your game. and just get better every year steadily, you are going to get where you want to go, whether it comes right away or it comes later. Brian? Allie, thanks. Quickly from outside, that's it. Coming off an assist from Barnes. Quickly's got eight. Love to see that kind of activity. He just makes things happen. Jackson Davis sinks that one from the post. Dee was too focused on Wiggins scoring easy give to his teammate. Trent with it, now Thompson defending. And the dunk to finish it off. A beauty. Flying in with the one-hand slam. Dad right there was a statement finish. And the Warriors called time here. And check out the NBA's top three-point shooters over the course of the past month. Second, Tobias Harris, play Thompson fourth. Their consistency from range is unbelievable. That's what every team in the league is looking for these days. And there's the call on Scotty Barnes. That's his first foul of the game. Third quarter here, over a minute and a half into it. The kickout, Curry. Start to the second half for them, only getting one of the past four shots to fall. Quickly finds Barnes. On the take. Back to quickly. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. Jackson Davis has got nine rebounds now. Play drives. The kickout to Wiggins. Takes a three. And it's Toronto with a rebound. And here's quickly. Give him eight points now. To the left wing. Here's Pertl. And he drops in the layup off the glass. He has six. Big body, Yaakov, using that size to get into position, quality job. Curry, look at it over. Pass to Jackson Davis. Tren against Thompson. Wiggins passes to Green. Three on the clock. Thompson fires from way outside. And again, it's the Warriors missing. And Barrett has got the ball here for Toronto. They've only allowed two points so far in the second half. And Green comes to help. Quickly with a ball, now guarded by Curry. And it's quickly with a miss. The Warriors have gone, only one for six here in the second half. Green, the pass to Curry, back to Green. Here's Jackson Davis. Outside Curry, past to Jackson Davis to win the drought. Colonel grabs a miss. The Raptors have gotten four of seven shots to drop in the third. Quickly finds Barnes. Inside, here's Purdle. And the gulp by Purtle. This is anyone's game now, and they have the momentum. Things are firing all cylinders for them right now. We'll see if they can keep it going. And some changes here for the Raptors. O'Lennick comes in for Pertle. And Boucher subbed in for Barnes. Harris, outside. Off target from three-point range. Yeah, and the defense has really got to tighten up on him. I mean, he's just too dangerous from the three-point line. Futs up the eight-footer. Shot is good by Barrett. Just so successful getting the ball inside and finding those great looks. Harris has doubled, and here's Thompson for three. Good. Five for nine, shooting so far. And shooting-wise, he's been fantastic, helping to build this lead. Trent outside. 41 seconds left to play in the third quarter. The shot misses. Green, the past of Wiggins. Oh, my! outside. 23 seconds left in the third. Pass to Bouchet. Quickly from outside, sends it home from three -point land. Quickly's got 11. He not one deep ball in the first half, but you start to get the feeling he's finding his rhythm out there now. But Temski, and the shot is good. Harris making the play. And the Warriors lead by 12. As his career has gone on, the vision, let's say it's improved for Harris. And so it's the Golden State Warriors going into the break up 12. They just can't miss right now. Every shot they're taking you assume is going in. More 2K action in just a moment. is to establishing culture in an NBA organization. Ooh, BA, culture, structured accountability. It's about getting the right group of guys, having strong leadership. And of course, it only works if the coaches and players fully buy in. Let's check in with our reporter, Ali LaForce. I was able to listen in on what Steve Kerr had to say to the team. He employed his team to use the clock. He said the clock is our friend. No need to rush things unless they give us a free one. Let's squeeze them out of this game. Back to you, Ryan. Good job there, Ali, thanks. They've got Stefan Curry. Gary Payton, the second, is out there with Tobias Harris. Then there's Kavan Looney, and it's Pachimski in at the two spot. So that's the group out there for Golden State. Nora's checked in for Toronto. Pass to Bouchier. And he makes it. Boucher's got his first two points of the night. Oh, what a crafty move, causing the defender to pause right there. To the paint, here's Looney. Oh, look at Looney! At the rim! And although he's undersized in his position, his vertical? Yeah, that'll clean up a few mistakes. Elbow shot, nice jump shot. And you can expect him to make it when the D is trash like that. It's Looney, on the take, that drops, and it comes off and assists from Curry. And the Warriors lead by 12. Just over a minute played here in the fourth. Now Barnes, Boucher outside. Barnes passes to Boucher. No good from outside. Man, that's his shot. Maybe he was too wide open. And here's Curry for three. It's Bousche with a rebound. It hasn't been his best game, but his team is still doing just enough to be up. Here's Dick. Drops in the three. I'll tell you, Grady Dick can shoot for days. I mean, his confidence from beyond the arc is really incredible. Here's Peyton. Harris, outside. Passed at the Pimski. Here's Looney. Here's Peyton. No good with the triple. Here's Dick. He's defended by Looney. And it's O'Levick with a jam. Elevates and detonates the one-hand stuff. Dix's your perfect. Golden State calls timeout. Here come those features. Let's hear you. You walk on. Golden State has gone 0 for two from outside here in the fourth quarter. The kickout to Wiggins. Wiggins, under duress on the three. And that's a good shot for Wiggins. I mean, he can be deadly from the point. Quickly against Curry. Purtle with a screen on Curry. Here's quickly. And the rebound goes to the Warriors. They led by as many as 18. From the top of the key, past to Jackson Davis. The three from Curry. Purtle grabs a miss. Purtle's got six rebounds in the game. There's the double team of Wiggins. Picked by Purtle. Trent, the pass to Pertle. And Grant, the playing was added after you were tired. You wish it was around when you played? If you don't be a, uh, no. But I do think we could have used it a couple of times in my years in Orlando. up in all fairness to play in is a success as it creates a game seven atmosphere and the NBA really knocked it out the park with this one. Curry with it. We've got 155 left to play in the fourth quarter of this one. Drills it from deep. so he wastes no time finding the shot. Purtle with a screen on Curry quickly, passes to Purtle. The three, Barrett. Second shot opportunity, and he got the whistle on the way up, so he'll be headed to the line for a pair. It's going to go on Tremon Green. Just staying active, that's a big part of Purtas game. All right, guys, what do you think so far on the offensive approach for the Warriors? The name of the game in the modern NBA is making threes, spacing the court, and that's exactly what they are doing tonight. Boy, in addition, I love their passing. I mean, they're buying into that team concept. That's hard to get out of your young guys. And that brings him within 10. And this is the problem with playing from behind. Missing Freebies takes on greater importance. Back to Thompson. Pass to Curry, now green. Here's Jackson Davis, three-pointer. Barnes with the rebound. He didn't make them pay for that weak defense, but they just can't rely on him to miss those kind of shots. Back to quickly, fires the three. And that's up it in. Five for 12 in…

@psicologopoeta: You really lived that match with intensity — that early lead showed your skill. Even though the third quarter was tough, I like how you never gave up and kept fighting until the end. That attitude is what will take you far in the playoffs, keep it up!
