@malopie: I totally understand the feeling you describe there when you partner is back during your busy time, I mean regardless of how much you try, there's always a slim chance of getting work done.

@josediccus: Clarity of you your voice, Check. Camera quality, check! Lighting, Check!. Are you now shooting with your iphone 12 pro max? Haha Well, it's not a wasted dream, one day, I'm sure you can still afford to buy that house by the ocean like you've always wanted.

@ayesha-malik: When you want such space, people literally don't give you this gift. Depending upon the culture I suppose our habits get changed. To be honest I spent a lot of time during the pandemic in solitude and now I miss everything thing like that as loneliness became my best friend 😁 Self talks are not polite in Japan 🤷‍♀️ strange Nah. when you get into deep thoughts and then start laughing🥴😂 I guess you like animals more that's why you relate your feelings with them. Kirfafal or what's that which you said at 02:01 😂

👏 🥦 !love !BBH !BEER 🥦

@vincentnijman: No need to tell you that I can understand. I wish you can get your hands on a beach house soonish, one way or another. I lived in cities for 35 years and a city like Tokyo ( with more people than Portugal ) can hardly have space for real silence ( unless you use noise cancelling headphones and sound proof walls and all that stuff.

@young-boss-karin: I like how you described your attention as being like a pizza. I can totally relate to that mehn. I had no idea I could post this sort of content here... I've been thinking about what community would just accommodate my random thoughts... I want to record them and post them here but I usually don't know where would suit them. I kind of have a similar fear of moving in with my partner. He says he won't distract my work and that he'll treat me like a ghost coz we both work from home but him just being there is enough of a distraction already so I can totally understand your discomfort. I hope you're able to move into a better place soon and hopefully your partner's more understanding than mine lol.

@ai-summaries: Here is a detailed summary article about the episode: Craving Privacy and Space in a Crowded City In this episode, the host discusses his growing need for more privacy and personal space, especially as he has become more focused on his work as a freelancer. He explains that when he was younger, he always wanted to be around friends and be entertained, but now he finds himself craving more solitude and a dedicated workspace free from distractions. The host notes that his living situation with his partner has become a source of tension, as their differing backgrounds and habits around noise and personal space have clashed. He grew up in environments with more open space and less constant background noise, while his partner is used to having multiple devices playing simultaneously in the same room. This sensory overload is challenging for the host, who values quiet and the ability to concentrate deeply on his creative projects. The host describes how he has tried to find private spaces to record audio or work, but has faced obstacles, whether it's the noise of a public park or the inconvenience and expense of renting a karaoke booth. He longs for a place of his own, perhaps a house near the ocean outside the city center, where he can escape the constant stimulation of urban life. The host reflects on how his need for privacy stems in part from his upbringing, recalling how his mother would often barge into his room without knocking when he was younger. This lack of personal boundaries left a lasting impact, and the host is determined not to repeat that dynamic in his current living situation. Ultimately, the host sees his craving for more space and solitude as a natural evolution as he has become more focused and productive in his work. He is willing to make the necessary sacrifices, whether financial or logistical, to find a living situation that better suits his needs and allows him to thrive creatively.
