@rt395: Japan is an incredible place so the more blogs about it the better in my opinion. We used to have a Steemit, before HIVE, community in Japan with about 30 members. We did meetups and it was really fun. It would be nice to do that again now that more and more people are blogging from Japan. Maybe I can get some of the old members to come out even for just a one off. @wittyzell @yoshiko @kinakomochi @boxcarblue
@ai-summaries: Exploring Different Cultures and Perspectives Through Podcasts In this episode, the host discusses their recent experiences of having podcast conversations with friends from various countries around the world, including Nigeria, Venezuela, and Indonesia. The goal of these podcasts has been to delve deeper into understanding different worldviews and experiences, while also acknowledging the unique upbringings and backgrounds of each individual. The host expresses a desire to connect with people who have vastly different experiences from their own, whether from their home country or from countries that are more prominent on the international stage. The chosen guests are friends with whom the host gets along well and from whom they have learned a great deal, even if they don't necessarily have everything in common. However, a friend recently suggested that the host focus on making videos about Japan, as they believe Japan is more popular and would likely attract more interest than some of the other countries the host has been featuring. While the host acknowledges the potential business benefits of this approach, they express a reluctance to solely pursue content that is aimed at maximizing views or likes. The host's primary motivation is to create meaningful and enjoyable content, not to become famous. As a result, the host has decided to continue exploring a diverse range of countries and cultures, including Japan, as they have lived there for eight years and have valuable experiences to share. Additionally, the host plans to start doing solo podcasts where they can discuss their own experiences of adapting to different cultures, learning languages, and the process of personal growth and reinvention. The host recognizes that the current audio and visual quality of the podcast recordings may be underwhelming due to the limitations of the technology they are using, such as Skype and Instagram. However, they are hopeful that they will be able to improve the production quality once they have the necessary equipment and resources. The host acknowledges that in sharing their experiences, they may occasionally say something that could be seen as offensive by some listeners. They emphasize that they are not trying to brainwash anyone, but rather to offer tools and stories that can help people live life the way they want, while also being open to differing opinions. The host encourages the audience to provide feedback and ask questions, as they continue to explore and share their cross cultural experiences.
