Hello guys, it's Amostikali here again, and in today's video, I want to share another rapid game I played on my journey to 2 ,400. If you are following, this is game 2, I'll be showing. Of course, my rating has increased from 2 -1-5. I played two games before this, and in those games, my opponent dropped pieces, and I don't think those games were worth reviewing, so... I kind of skipped them and we are jumping straight to this game. So this game was a draw and I was playing the black side. Unlike the first game I shared, I played something I usually play while I was younger, but in this game I played the Sicilian defense, which I think is something I'm just starting to understand and play. So the game started with E4 and I played C5. My opponent played Knight F3 and I played D6. So my idea is, I was expecting the Open Sicilian where my opponent plays D4, and after it captures, captures, I play Knight F6, and I was ready to go for the Najjar variation. But unfortunately, that's not what happened in the game. After D6, my opponent did not play D4, my opponent played Bishop to C4. While I play the white side of this position, this is one move I like to play against Sicilian, so I like it because it's a bit flexible and it kind of have similar ideas to the Italian game. So in this position, I still continue with Knight's F6, and after D3, I went Knight to C6. So one of the reasons why I like Sicilian is Sicilian actually offers direct ways to try and fight to equalize very easily. So if your opponent plays a type of way, you can actually equalize the position. So my opponent plays H3, and I play A6, trying to expand on the queen side. And he played A5 trying to stop this move. So that move is impossible. And I continued with E6, trying to develop my bishop to E7 and Casu. Oppenet cast out and I played Bishop to E7 and after the move Bishop to F4, I realized that I could actually gain a tempo on that bishop, make the bishop move again and also get some squares in the centre. So I played E5. So what I was afraid of is if I cast through my opponent plays this move and if I play something like this, then it plays this move. So I didn't want this to happen in the game, so that's why I didn't cast two here, and I played E5 instead. So after E5, my opponent played Bishop to G5, and I played H6, also to gain 10 point that bishop. And now, if I finally took the knight and Bishop takes Knight to C3 was played, and in this position I played Knight to D4. Knight to D4, I think... was just to try and trade pieces in this position i didn't see anything for black to do my idea was to probably play bishop to e6 next and you know just try and simplify the position and probably get to an end game so he played knight to play to d5 and maybe he's trying to i was trying to play something for example if i cast to play something like 3 and forced me to capture, I don't know what the idea is for why it was, but I didn't really see much here, so I played cast it instead, and it took the night pawn takes and I don't know, pawn takes this way was because I wanted to be able to play Rook to B8 and play B5 at some point, then I have more pun on the queen side. That's why I didn't choose this other one. And after F4, I saw F4 was coming, so my plan was to attack the knight and go into an opposite color bishop, which I think is easy to draw. So, Bishop takes knight, and from here, in as much as there are a lot of pieces on the board, I didn't see a way that I can lose this game. So even if I'm going to lose this game, it would be very difficult. and considering my opponent is 90 points above me, I think it was not so difficult to hold. I played Bishop to E5. The idea is to bring my queen to this line and try to, you know, face his king's side. And I was not scared of Bishop takes pawn because... Because I could just, you know, even... sacrifice that or rook takes here after this move i don't need to take i can take this pawn and yeah it might have a pass pawn but um i think it will be very strong or maybe instead of after rook take maybe queen here um instead of rook takes maybe queen here if he saves the pawn we can do rook here and you know I think I'll still be able to draw this even being a pawn down. So I didn't think the pawn could be taken. So let me turn on the engines now and see if it does a good thing. So if he took the pawn, what would I have played? Let's consult from the engines. Bishop takes pawn. Okay, rook here. And after rook here, okay, I'm going to have the tempo to come in. So yeah, it wasn't a good idea for him to take the pawn. So he played queen here to... I play queen to G4 and I play queen to G5, I felt like this was the only move and after queen takes, pawn takes, it's kind of a posy color, I just need to protect the dark squares, put my pieces on the dark squares. Another thing I think you should have tried is pawn push here, you know, trying to lock in that square. Oh, I think taking this now would have been okay because after Rook takes Bishop here, Okay, I think it's still going to end in a draw, but I think it's something that he should have tried. So, but yeah, this was what was played and Pomp Push, Porn Push, and after this move, I think I should have, I think I played correctly here, played Bishop backwards here, and I didn't see a way it could actually penetrate into the center. and king here, I moved my rooks, so I think he didn't play well here because after point takes, pawn takes, king moves here and king up was a very interesting move because I know that if he exchange, I have a bishop, but I was expecting to play this move. This move gave me a pun because after punt takes, he can't take back. This is actually going to be a blunder because it's just going to lose a rook. So I was up a pawn and after this position, I just knew that there was no way I could win, so I offer draw. So I alpha draw because it was my turn to play, I offered draw because I didn't see a way to win. I don't see how I can win. I can't hold that pawn for as long as I can. I can't capture any of his white pawns and basically this is a draw. So let me turn on the engines. The engines are great minus 0.1 and it's one of those positions where... I might be a pun-up, but there's no way to win, basically. So I gain plus 3 in this position, in this game, so that takes me to 2-249, and yeah, it takes me to 2-4-9, yeah, this is the game, takes me to 2-4-9, and I'm edging closer to my goal of 2400. Thank you for watching and see you in the next game.
