@curatorcat.leo: Certainly a worthwhile question... and answer. Perhaps more interesting is the question of why we all — in a general sense — are becoming more androgynous. Men more feminine, perhaps, but also women more masculine. It's also interesting to consider, when set against gender researcher Sanda Bem's work and suggestion that more androgyny is often an indicator of better success in life... although that one is often debated rather heatedly, depending on people's definition of "success." =^..^=
@dbooster: Funny, I just read a reddit post that shared some photos from a yearbook from the 40s, listing the pet peeve of each person. One of the women write that her pet peeve was "sissified men". What was a sissy in the 40s? Probably a man who wanted to see a doctor after breaking his leg instead of continuing to work. Or someone anti war. I was just thinking if that woman is still alive, she is probably disappointed in pretty much 100% of men today. Here's the link if you are curious: Anyway, I'll go watch your video now.
@momogrow: It is indeed true that men use to work much harder and were tougher. Life is different nowadays. We see changes not only in the work performed and communication but also how men dress. However, in general the roles men play in society are the same but every generation must adapt to society as it changes.
