@thebighigg: Very thought provoking. We are all born with death as a certainty, and our children carry on our legacy. I like the analogy of the kind grandmother, because when we help others we are making the world a better place. As one closer to the end of the line than the beginning, you question things more deeply. Very well done, I love your poems!
