Yo, what up everybody? This is for High Football Mike Week 315. I'll be covering in the stars by Benson Bone for this week's theme, which says, Moonlight. You did your hair up like you were famous. Even though it's only church where we were going. But now, Sunday mornings, I just sleeping. It's like I buried my fate with you. I'm screaming at a guy, I don't know if I believe in, because I don't know what else I can do. Oh, I'm still holding on to everything that's dead and gone. I don't wanna say goodbye, cause this one means forever. Now you're in the stars and six feet never fell so far. Here I'm alone between the heavens and the embers. Oh, it hurts so hard. @jesuslnrs: Hey my good brother! This is a great post—and musically, it’s something I truly appreciate listening to. Thanks for sharing this. Yes, the moon holds different meanings for many people, but ultimately, it is simply the satellite that keeps us company—though, admittedly, countless great songs and a wealth of inspiration have been born around it. Personally, I always associate it with long distance love; even when we are separated from the ones we love, I feel closer to them knowing that we are both beneath the glow of the very same moon. I even feel close to those who have passed on—beyond the veil of death itself—whenever I look up at the night sky... Bravo, bro! It’s great to see you active again on Hive Open Mic.
