Today, we're jumping into downtown Club VR, one of the few racing games where you can actually grab the steering wheel and drive like you're inside the car. No joystick steering, no expensive wheel setup, just full VR control. Let's see if I can handle these streets. I've been playing normal and is starting to feel too easy, so I'm switching to hard mode for more of a challenge. I'm increasing the difficulty to hard to test my consistency and improve my driving. Love about this, virtual steering wheels can be a viable alternative to dedicated wheel hardware because motion controllers provide positional tracking and rotational input, allowing the player to physically mimic steering movements. This creates a more intuitive control scheme than using an analog step, since steering input comes from natural arm rotation and hand positioning rather than thumb-based input. the headset provides six degree of freedom head tracking and a stereoscopic field of view. This allows the player to naturally move their head to bring mirrors into view, similar to real driver. In contrast, flat screen games rely on a fixed camera and limited screen space, which makes mirrors small, less readable, or requires using buttons to look around. is actually one of the best native racing games on standalone quest headsets, especially if you like cockpit driving and VR interaction. But it has some trade-offs because it's made by a small indie team and is still evolving.
