A welcome to a video, but not gaining. We are doing coding, first coding video! Yes! And I wrote this simple basic stuff, so you can learn the basics. You need to install text editor and notepad, which I am using for Windows or Atom4 Mac. And HTML always starts with these lines. And tags are words inside the pointy brackets. Most of the tags need to be closed with forward slash. So if you have two pointy brackets, it's open, and you have to put forward slash to close it. and HTML pages have head and body. In the head is important information. In the body, we put information that will show on the website page. In the body, we place containers called div. Just like the open clothes, you just put forward slash like that. Let's write the basic HTML code. So let's go here. And I'm going to be writing the basic HTML code for you guys watching. I'm going to do it. So, copy me because this is how you do that. Talk type. Now we do... base and then now we do HTML. And then we do again bracket, then that. Now we press Enter and then we write bracket HTML. And then another bracket. You don't have to do two spaces, but I'm doing the two spaces to make it look clean and organized. So, next, we do the head. So, bracket, each head. And then we get the bracket, and then we're not going to learn yet what's inside the head. That will be next video. or next next who knows but now we do this and then we do forward slash to close it and it it's purple because if you put bracket that means it's closed so now it's closed because there's nothing here so that means no mistake but the purple means is also mistake because there's no pointy bracket So if it's purple, you have to place a point bracket, facing this way, facing the infinite line way. Now space twice for to make it unique. Now we do body. Body, now it's open, two spaces, and then tab, three times, we do point D bracket div, and then we do space, ID, and then we do space, ID, put the equal, now we put the space in apostrophe, and then we do top bar. top bar, now we do again apostrophe, then we put the point bracket on the other side, enter, now I'm going to start it here, because if it's started here, where my line is, we had to do tab again, but now we have to do div, and close it. And yellow, purple means it's incorrect because we have to put the point bracket and the div is container that will show on the website and now let's do enter twice for the next one it will be main section so this is the second time you have to do this but not to our main section now we do ID equal apostroph and then main section. Main section. Now we need to close it by point bracket, forward slash, and div. And close it. Now, we do enter twice, but the, we don't have to really do enter twice, we can just do enter once, get rid of all the tab, and then enter again. Like that, so now we enter twice, so now we close the body. Forward slash, body. and here's purple because it's incorrect, we have to close it, so now it's closed, and now we do space again and fill in deep bracket, forward slash, and then H-T -M-L, and now we close it. We finished now the... Now this has to be saved in the... and this file has to be called index .hml to save this code. You have to save. Don't forget to save. If you don't save, you have to write this code and watch this video again, so make sure to save. And if we go here to my files, here, now we are in my files, and if we press on the index here, Nothing is there. Nothing is there because the code is empty because we have to put paragraphs and images to make pictures over here and also writings. So we finish the code, the basic code. Next video, we're going to learn some more. This is the end of our coding session. And if you have any questions, write your questions in the comments. And see you next time, Nathan Games out!
