But I'm not going to, I don't take this search on. What I can do is put on a berry. Thank you all. Thanks for being here. Mike, you're good. Nice for being here. Oh, sir. It's you. See you. Good. Thank you. Good. Yeah. Yeah, well. I appreciate you guys. I show you guys the first one's going on. Yeah. I appreciate you guys. I appreciate it. Well, you know. If there's anything, make sure you get what you need. I know. I'm going back to make sure you get what you do. I know. I was with, I traveled with the Rescue 1 last week. I was down at the firehouse. It was with Terry Hatton. I was with all of them. Are they gone? We have your friends now? It is that. Governor, I couldn't believe, except we've down the powerhouse, just me and the guys sitting around a table. You need to go back. We need to know. Massive Corps'Aization. The level of difficulty, I think, it's over the top. These folks, all these folks, we're really good. How many, how many of the level of difficulty, I think, it's over the top. These folks, all these folks are going to, how many of you take in there? We're thinking also four of our guys out right now where we're going to split into the other four hours and we'll start working for all our shifts. We're looking at about a 7-8-day location. We are one of the questions that I have here is. We're looking at three days. So we're at three stations. Listen up, guys. Come here. Yeah, so I'm going to listen to what it is. Gary, how many of our back there? How many more back there? Go on, Joe. Go! nation yet. This is going to be our bus, like you guys all know. We're taking our trailers in there with us, our tractors and our trailers in there. It could be a problem where we can't get our equipment in. So when we get on scene, depending on what And Doni tells us, we're going to might have to start helping a bunch of stuff in from a long ways away. So we've got about 45 minutes before we're going to start loading up and doing anything else like that. I want to say something to drawback. You guys don't know this. This is the director of FEMA. I met a lot of you guys when I was in Sacramento, not too long ago. I can't say thanks enough for the president, for our country, for what you're doing. I guess you all are the first team in. And I was down there yesterday. It's tough. I haven't been inside, but it's tough. I can tell you that. My prayers are with you, our country's prayers are with you. Thank you for what you're doing. Anything you need, that's why I'm here. We're going to make it happen. I don't care what it is. To toilet paper, aspirin, water, equipment, most importantly, to protect yourselves, to help you do your job. Thank you. Thank you to Don Rick. Okay. We're going to stay out of your way. Thank you. Everybody see the bus driver? It's perfect because it fits into the story of them. Try not put in, oh no, no, we're trying to, we're doing anything we can, but it's just, it's unusual. We're going to the territory. Yeah. You never know. And when we, when we, when we, when we're here, Donald's all, you guys, right in close to, you guys, right? I see, I see now, there you know, and we think right under it, because he wasn't here, and he was off by coming back in here. Let's do it. Steve I'm doing. What you do with your pack? Oh, can we do that? Sure. Are we going to go get caught? What? You said there is nothing in there. I know. And then I turned around, you found back with fun. I have something like. No, I do. Step it on these guys dicks and toast the last thing I want to do. No, maybe. I'm going to do. I'm going to do two with this group, we'll do. Mr. President, we want to try to do two group photos at this field. Thank you. Work? Good. I'd like this way, sir. Let me do it all about. Let me do it. I'm going to keep going this way this way for group photos. We'll get a group photos from here on. Nice to come in. Hill Logan with the facts. Test one. President, we're doing a great photo. Yeah, I'm sorry, they can, uh, once the picture is making the group on. All right, folks, let's tighten it up. How are you doing? Thank you. I really appreciate you. I'm done. Do you say you got in there? So I still warning? Oh, they're holding it pretty good. You got to get them in prison? Yeah. Mr. President, I wonder what some of your impressions are, sir. Well, I'm shocked at the size of the devastation. And it's hard to describe what it's like to see it. gnarled steel and broken glass twists the building silhouetted against smoke I said that this was the first act of war on America in the 21st century and I was right particularly having seen the scene however out of the rubbles and ash and ugliness, there's a lot of good. Starting with the guy from L.A. They've come all the way over in California to help brothers and sisters in need, and that is a symbol of the greatness of the country. This is a country that's coming together. I was also struck by how angry many of the workers were in spite of the fact that they had worked to exhaustion. Yeah, they're angry. They're angry at the people who did the crime. They're angry at the people who destroyed life. They're angry at people who caused the devastation. And as I said, I heard their anger. In America, we'll feel the same way. And our response will be one that is justified. So what's your level of satisfaction about the investigations progressing and how the intelligence gathering is going? I am satisfied that America has rallied during this terrible tragedy. I'm satisfied that the compassion of the nation has risen to the surface. I'm satisfied that in any community, if we ask for help, we find it. I'm also satisfied that the 4,000 FBI agents are working tirelessly to gather all the evidence that can be gathered. to find those who may still be in our country if they are here. I'm satisfied that our planning for possible future actions is going on course. Most of all, I'm satisfied, and I'm pleased to be in America. This is a proud moment for our country. Out of this terrible devastation and ruin, the greatness of America shines forth. And I'm here just the best as I possibly can to thank the American people who are helping here and to comfort aid, give comfort to those who have hurt. A lot of the firefighters who we saw had tears in their eyes because they lost loved ones, and their brothers are missing. You know, and it's a sad moment to be with that. And the least I can do is to give them a hug and maybe encourage them something. We're gathering all the possible evidence for appropriate time. Thank you, Mr. Do you feel like you know who is? Thank you all. Thank you. Senator Clinton? Does she want to get through? I already went. He's just going to go straight there. There he is right now. No, you're right here. Here we go. Very good. Thank you all. Thank you. Thank you, thank you all. Thank you, Mr. President? Sir. Yes, yes. Yes, sir. Yes. Good to see you. On behalf. Half the same. I'm proud of it. Thank you. I appreciate you. Thanks. Big L.A. Fire to Park. Yes, sir. It's great of you to do this. I did. The first time they waved with all five figures. Yeah, I got a better fan. This could change for a while. Yes. Okay. Nice side, please. What are you guys doing in that building? Just talk you through it, and then it's part where it's fucking and you guys ran. Oh, they used to be the morgue, and then they moved it out of that area, and we were downstairs. That used to be the big triage area, too. And once the building started coming down, the windows fell out and stuff like that, they cleared all that out. And we went in there to get some more medical supplies, got some oxygen containers and some IV bags and stuff like that and there. And they said, get out. They said, get out, the building's coming down. So, running for our lives, just dropped everything and ran. Just ran and ran and ran. That's it. Man for your life. And how far can you run? When you're in a building, how far can you run? Where can you go? These things are 60 stories high, hey, look around. Where can you go? How fast can anybody run? I can't run that fast. It's the most horrible thing I ever seen to. It's the most horrible thing I ever seen. When it's, like, it's got to be, I mean, the worst thing in the world, to lose, as anybody would know, but it seems like there never someone loses, you know, everybody. When it's a service, when it's a service, like, military, fire department, police department. EMS, it doesn't matter. When you're out here every single day, depending on someone else to save your life, if you get hurt, it's a bond. It's not a real personal bond, you know, you don't talk about personal things, but it's a bond. It's a bond that you can't explain. It's a bond that husband and wives don't have. It's a bond that brothers and sisters don't have. It's a bond for public safety and military personnel. That's it. It's stronger than anything. Bonds are made. Bonds are made every day. This is where those bonds are made every day. This is where those bonds are tried. Bonds are made every day, I ever see what call you going. Every fire that you run into, every... Every building these New York Guaismas go into, everything, you know, every police officer that goes to a door and goes in a call, or does a traffic stop, who makes contact the subject, every firefighter runs into a burning building or goes into a confined space rescue or anything, any MSI that goes in and tries not to get stuck by needles, like blood all over and try to stay alive, or goes in right behind the firefighters in these buildings, just pull people out and save them. That's just, that's every day, every day, it's not disasters like this, it's not people coming together and building bonds at incidents like this. These bonds are built every single day, every single day, every single one of these guys, risk your lives, every day, every single day, not a day goes by that you're working, you know, risk your life at some point. Whether it's running a street light, lights and sirens, you know, that's dangerous in itself. It's just the barn. That's coming down. I don't really reach out and touch somebody to do that. You can be out in that perimeter or what? back in here at all. Is this lead to the subway? Do what? Does this lead to the subway? Yes, it does. What? Yes, it does. That was your hand, see. Oh, okay. No, I just don't have my bearings. You're right there. They left their jacket on the ground, they said, we're just hanging out until they do their search. It's more of a supplemental force. It's not like, you know, that's our mission. It's not like we're in charge of all that. I don't, I don't think that's his intention. I've never really heard of it before, you know what I mean? It's just one of those things we're tasked out for now. Because you're really, I mean, I've assumed the intent is your job is deep. I'm not watching, I don't want that to fall. Descendage milk crating. I mean, look like to do this. Tom? No, back of statistics. We are. We're going on. Again. Very well. Like that? No responsibility. Way back over here. Any duct tape? Anybody got duct tape? My name is Jeff Tracy. My name is T-R-A-C-E -Y. What's your position on the Pennsylvania Task Force? I'm a medical specialist. Tell me about what your role is in that. My primary mission is to take care of the task force. Our members, to ensure their safety if something goes awry, I need to take care of the task force first. Our second mission is to take care of any patients, any lifelines that we may have. From there, is anybody else, whether they're in our dogs as well. Are you a rugby team? You guys play two patients at it. How have you been doing it? I've been on a task for since 97. What are their operations have you worked on? I was down for Hurricane Floyd. That was our first deployment, I believe, our second deployment. had like a live find or something? Actually, here I don't believe we've had any live finds down in Hurricane Floyd. I was there when they had, or shortly after, they rescued one in a boat. It was the other crew, actually, but the task force itself has had a live fire. Well, just a few minutes ago, I mean, they brought out a firefighter to see, it's got to be about part of your job, especially. Absolutely, it's a giant brotherhood and we feel their fame. When a brother's lost, you're right, it's a terrible part of the job. So, how do you guys keep going day to day? What keeps you going? Obviously, it can't, how does it can't let it get to you? Well, it does, it's accumulate, but it does get to you sooner or later. The drive, I mean, these guys are out busting their humps for, you know, days and days and days. It needs done. I mean, there's people that, I don't know, they need our help. You do what you have to do. Actually, the support from home, the support from the public sector makes a tremendous difference. I don't know if they realize that much it impacts all of us, their support. pulling a snows fan on an angle from off that ladder. It's got to go back over the dave. They get it to clear the beam. Okay, I saw it sitting over that way. That's cool. There you go. That's cool. Can I trade places with it just for a second? Thanks a lot, man. We appreciate it. Good boy, Riley. Riley. Good boy, Riley. Let's get it away. Good boy, Riley. Good boy. Good job, Riley. empty bucket. Is it, Ronald? were going on a military escort. I'll be with that vehicle. I had an excellent meeting with that personnel to stress them how critical the badge issue was. The officer there told them to tell the infantry don't give them no shit. Amen. So that's the end of that. Now, listen to me very carefully. For accountability purposes, once we're on the bus, all right, and I wish I could say this person do this, this person got, once we're on the bus, get a total number count, all right, so that we're square to go, and then we'll stay tight with that. Please communicate that. We'll go as close as we possibly can, and then we move from there and realize it's going to be a little low time. If there any other items, we need to be addressed before we leave, again, from the IST, again, reminded us about the safety items. APRs in the pits, elbow knee pads, iPro, hearing protection, on site. If you're outside the area, you're just tying around or whatever, I felt the mask would be adequate, so whatever's necessary. Anything else that needs to be addressed before we load. Now, the Capitol Trailway buses should be at the rear loading document. What I'm going to try to do is go out this way, right, right? Have you seen anything else? A lot of people go in, you tell her buddies, and they all come a couple of days in. Well, by the end, you've got a good career, you get some good scene security, you're starting to be able to do some organizational skills. If we can make a grandpa, how are you? How are you? Oh, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, oh, yeah, how you? What are you doing with them after they're in this target, which they aren't? You know? You've got a deconditioned. not fully secured. Can you speak up a little bit? Come in a chair. Here, your hand. No, I'm not going to stand on a chair, I'm making tall. Keep that in mind. Don't forget, hazmat issues, utilize them, we've got them. We're getting into areas, we haven't been to, we're getting into some basement areas. A lot of stuff is, they're gifting down into it. Part of that hazmat, and also your blood -warm path, your bodies, fluids and whatnot. Remember to have your nitros latex underneath your rescue gloves. Structural issues, the building's constantly shifting, the piles. It's been burning constantly. The heat is extremely high. It's starting to shift. They've noticed shifts yesterday. They tried to look at it last night. I'm not sure what the results were. They were negative. Just keep that in the back of your mind. These guys with…
