I have a few friends, and to be fair, also some family members that know that I'm a computer nerd. So I guess it kind of makes sense that they are sending me the videos of the whistleblower. They want to know my opinion. For better or for worse, I do have one. But it's not necessarily what they think I'm going to say. I mean, on one... On the one hand, I do agree that this technology is kind of scary, and I have concerns, and I've expressed them on my blog and maybe even on some videos. But on the other hand, I do have to question the timing of this thing. I do have to question the performative aspect of what is happening, of the whistleblowers. And let me try to make my point like this. If I believed, and I'm not saying this is the case, but let's say, if I believed that I'm developing a weapon, let's say I go work for, I don't know, Lockheed and Martin, one of those companies that makes weapons, and then I start making something that I know is super dangerous. And I work for this company for four or five years. What would have to happen for me to one day wake up and be like, you know what? This is wrong. What would have to happen? I mean, I'm working for... a company that makes a weapon, I knew what it was. I was contributing actively on the development of this thing. So the idea that all of a sudden I developed a conscious that I felt like, hey, you know what? Yeah, I made enough money. Now I can think of my future because maybe I won't have one, but I have stock also on this company because, of course, that's how these companies pay their developers. You also get stock options. I don't know, there's something about it that feels off to me. And again, I'm not saying there's no danger. That's not what I'm saying. I am talking about the idea, the unicornian idea that one of these people could one day, after contributing for years, develop a conscious. And then now we have to pay attention, and now we have to listen. I don't know. And I guess I'm also a little blackpilled about this whole thing, about this. hey, you know, let's go out there and denounce corruption and denounce the things that people are doing because a lot of people in this DNA and social media are just trying to get cloud, trying to work on an angle so they can sell you something. So I feel, and this is really what happened with Hunter Biden, by the way, but that's another subject, that's another topic altogether. But I feel like this guy is... on the verge, maybe if it works, if it doesn't work, of selling us something. I don't know what it is, but I almost feel like here in a month, here in two months, he's going to be like, okay, this is bad, bye, check this out, this one is good, and he's part of that project, or something of this word. Of course, I could be completely wrong, and I welcome disagreements. But again, I don't feel it to be natural, to be believable, that I work for a weapons manufacturer, basically. for years, and then one day I just wake up and you know what, making weapons is wrong. Don't buy it.
