leather goods from Colombia. And it's not doing that well. The sales team is not kicking butt a consultant, somebody that is going to come in, analyze the situation, and figure out what they can do to boost sales. So the first thing the consultant does is to go talk to the salespeople, see what's going on. It's like, hey, why are the sales down? Why are you not selling us much? And then the salespeople say, look, it's not us. It's not, we're hitting the books hard, we're following up on leads, it's just not happening, we're not closing. It is the cost at customs or something. It's the delays at customs. It just takes too long, and then people don't want to wait, and it's just too expensive because of those delays and et cetera, et cetera, so we can't close the sales. Talk to the people at the port and figure out what's going on. Hey, why are these packages being delayed and the cost of storing is going up and all the stuff? And the people at the port just like, you know, it's not us. It's really not us. We are trying to do the best that we can, but we're having issues with the factory that is shipping the stuff to us. The factory is located in Colombia because they're not shipping stuff on time, they're not staying in schedule, and also the quality of the stuff has dropped down, so sometimes when it gets here, a lot of stuff is damaged, and we have to sort it out, throw it away, or there's an unsanitary thing going on. So it's really the issue is them. They are making things slow, they are increasing the price of everything. So they guys like, okay, so... he flies to Colombia to go talk to the factories, the ones that are making the purses and the jackets and whatnot, and tells him, hey, listen, you know, I'm here, I'm trying to see what's going on, why are the overhead so high, why are we getting these prices, you know, we're not being able to sell as much as we did a couple years ago. It's like, but it's not us. It's not us. We're doing the best that we can. We get the best materials that we can, and we build the best things that we can as fast as we can. The problem is the tanneries. You know, where we get our heights from, it's just they're taking too long to provide the material. Sometimes they send us subpar leather, and then we have to send it back, and it's just a fight back and forth, and they're increasing their prices all the time. So, it's really not us. So we're barely making any money. So then this guy is like, okay, I guess I've got to go talk to the tanneries. So he goes over there and is... and he explains them what's going on and who he is and everything, and then they explain to him that it's not their fault. It's like, it's not us. It's really not us. The problem is the farmers. I'm going to tell you why. Because the farmers don't really care too much about leather, so they don't take care of the cows that, well, they don't help maintain the hide well because they get all the ticks and bugs and whatnot, and they don't spray them against these parasites, so the hides are not good. And, you know, we, a lot of the stuff is waste. So we end up buying a lot of stuff that we waste, and therefore we have to sell it more expensive, and that's, you know, just trickling all the way down to the consumer. So I guess, okay, so it's the farmers. So he goes to the farms, you know, one of the biggest farms that sells leather to the tanneries, and explains to them who he is, and he's a consultant, he's trying to figure out what to do. And the farmer looks at him and says, you know, You're looking at the wrong guy. It's not us. It's not me. Let me explain to you what's going on. The cows are too stupid. Look at them. They scratch themselves against the post. They scratch themselves against the barbed wires. And that's why we have crap materials. So then the guy goes back to his boss and to make a report on what it is that is going on. Why is it that? the business is going under. And in his report on the Heather, you know, he's a conclusion of the analysis of blah, blah, blah, blah, and the report says, the company is going bankrupt because the cows are too stupid.

@paultactico2: 'The cows are too stupid', lol! I would like to see the face of that guy when he was reading the final report. But anyway, I believe that in business, you have to pay special attention to the entire supply chain, because a failure in one part of it can cause the whole system to collapse. And well, this could apply to others aspects of the life. Regards. replied to 4:31 on 3speak.tv
