Welcome to this new episode of a little tutorial on the Hive chain to make you explore new D-Apps on the chain. Today we're going to go to HiveBrily. App, which is not really new, the main existing for quite a while now, but still doesn't have as much user and usage as it could be and, in my opinion, should have. As you may know, in the past months and even years, there's been a lot of increase in the usage of... betting website because it's a betting production market or bets gambling beta basically but on real -life events it can be sports like it always existed as well as prices or events you can see on the screen that there is even one for the Brazil presidential election and these websites like Polymarketing Kalashi have gained a lot of attention the past years and now we have the same on chain without any QIC on On Hive, the only thing that lacks for the moment is a bit of volume and liquidity, so that's why also I'm doing this presentation. Maybe we can onboard a few new users. and make it a bit more, not competitive to pony markets, but at least usable for bigger bets, right? So let's go to it. So the first step you want to go is go to this website. You're going to have the link in the description, which will give you a little bonus. I will talk about you this later. So first step, really, like any website on the Hive chain, is sign in with Hive, you get your username here, you sign it with keychain, keychain, you're going to give you a little message, you confirm, and boom, you're locked in now. what to do on this website. So the really first thing you're going to do is the presentation page, but the really page you can use the most is the markets page, though you can only click here, which will give you the list of all the open markets and the different probabilities. So how to read one of those. First, you have the status. Live mean that there's enough predictors to have it working, you can bet, and it will resolve. after this date I can find on the bottom right of each. Next to the resolution date, you also have the number of predictors, which is also important because as you can see this one next to it, it's forming because it only has one predictor. You have to at least have three different betters on a single prediction market, with post -Sci being represented for it to be live and working. So then you also have the amount of hive that is inside the bet, so the market, which is splited according to the percentage. For example, here you have two hive, 50 % is on green, 50% is on red, so one hive on each side. And then you have the name of the bet which is on what you're betting on. Let's see a concrete example. This one is a multi-possibility market. which means that you're not betting on yes or no, you're betting on a different outcome that are possible. So, for example, here you're going to bet on the Brazil presidential election. In the seven days it closes. We're already 15 betters for a total price pool of 323 hive. As you can see, it's still quite low volumes. So the screen is occupied by two different sections. On the right side, you have the place prediction button, which will allow you to do the pets. And on the left side is more a bit to see the details of the pet. For example, here you can see how much hive have been staked on each option, and which is the current payout per hive that you place. This is an estimation and will change. based on how much you bet. For example, if I bet for Bolsonaro, I will decrease the payout because there will be more hive here and less here to be paid out. You can also have the rules which explain you on what condition the bet will resolve into one or another direction. It can be really helpful and always read these rules. because for sometimes, for example, on some names of bets, it might not be clear what will move the rules forward one or another resolution, so always check this one to make sure you understand what you're betting on. It would be a dumb way to lose a bet. Then you have the list of times and amounts of bets and users that bet. This is really interesting also to see. For example, here you can see it's very diversified, but sometimes it can be one user betting against a lot of other users. This can make you have an idea on what's happening. You have the top holders that can say you who's betting on which side. This is a quite good view. And also you have the comment section, which is, can be useful. For example, here, when you have questions about the bet and someone might answer, if you just you want to share about the bet, and then you have related markets. So now how do you actually bet on the market? So, let's say on these list of people, well, this is special because the bet was created a long time ago, now we are currently in the waytime because the big twin. the first and the second round of the election, so we already know that all these ones are out of the competition, so basically you're going to want to vote for a bet for one of those. Currently, the most probable one is Bolsonaro according to Polymarket, which is a little tip I give you if you're unsure about something, but you still want to, one thing I always do is bet one, there's only two people betting on a market, I will bet. also just for it to be able to be created, just check the current prediction odds on polymarket. It's basically one of the most efficient markets available right there, so you can see that Bolsonaro has 79.5% chance of winning, so as long as we're around this number, it's priced correctly. So let's say I want to bet on a market, let's open another market because I already bet a lot on this one. So let's take a random one, let's say this one. So here it's 50-50 and on which team is going to win. So as you can see, here we need at least two more betters to make it happen, or it will only be refunded. Don't worry, you'll get your money back if you don't get enough betters. The platform take no fees. So let's say I think this team is going to win. Here you're going to put the number of high if you want to bet. The minimum is one hive, this is for the whole platform. The cap left, it depends each bet has a different amount you can bet. Here it's a maximum amount of 10,000. On some other markets it can be less, it can be more, that's the market creator that is signed. Then simply click on back Cleveland. Note that here there is your predicted amount of win. So how do we know how much you're going to win? it's really easy. Here you can say that there is one hive on yes, one hive on no. If I bet one hive on yes, it will be two on yes and one on no. So what will happen the day of the payout, the platform will remove 3% of the losing side, so instead of being one hive, it will be 0.97 hive, and then it will be split across the winners, so it will be around 0.45 hives per user. So I'm placing the bet. You confirm, you can see the detail of the operation if you don't trust the website. I've done that already. And now if I refresh the website in a few seconds, the time that the blockchain do the changes. You can see that the probability has been updated. If I put one here, there's a new amount to be won, because now there will be a dilatation of the amount of... to be won by the number of users. And another functionality is the cash out. So this is only available if you have more than 10 hive inside of a bet. I never did it because you have to pay high penalty if you do it. In this case, it's 27%. Basically, you're paying at the other side what they would win. So this is to prevent you cash out just before the end of an event because you know you're going to lose, so you still would have to pay the price loss. If I can explain it that way, I hope you understand. If you don't, like always, don't hesitate, you can ask a question in the comments and I will do my best to answer. So, it's been a long run already. What else can I explain on this main page? I will do another video explaining a... maybe the rest of the website can not make it them too long. But here, what you can see, let's explain you really quickly how this works. So, what I like to do, the filters that I like to use, is first crypto. These are automated markets, which mean that every week they are there. I like to bet on each one of them. It's really easy. You just say if the price will reach above or not at the end of the week. Easy and fast, automated. No problem. Same for Hive here, you can place on the automated bets on the Hive price. Commodities is the same. Then you have sports, that's really, also all of them are automated. Basically, when it's created by the website, so you can see the creator here, on the prediction page, you can see the creator when it's Hive predict most of the time it's automatic. which you can also see here, resolution is set to auto. But, for example, here, this one have been created by this guy, but the resolution is manual. This just means that to the time where the results is known, there might be a little difference between that time and the moment the payout is actually made, where the automatic payout, they are done in a few seconds, a few block after the answer is known. So here there's a lot of other categories, skateboarding, I never see anything. Entertainment, science, science sometimes, there is, these are more custom stuff, as well for the tech, sometimes there are custom pets, same for other, or really diverse. bets that you can make. I think these are the funniest one to do. Same for politics, there are really often a few bets, so that's a way to enjoy it. So, I think all of the markets right now are in Hive and HBG, but theoretically, you could create markets in Hive engine tokens. Just at the for a moment, there's none because there's no usage for it, but basically if you're a community or something, maybe this can be a use case as well. Other filters that I find really useful is here. You're going to sort, trending doesn't mean much. New West, you're always going to see the newest, and each week when HivePredict is creating the new weekly bets for the crypto hive and commodities, this is really useful to open all them at once. Then you have ending soon. This is if you want to place a quick bet. For example, you can see all of these finish in two hours. You can place a quick bet. And by volume, this is more if you want to place huge bets. The problem is, for example, if I want to bet on this market, but you see there's only two hive. If I place 100 hive on the winning side, I will earn nothing. So, I mean... I will earn something but it will be 0.055. It's not a good risk ratio to reward. That's why you might sort it by volume if you want to have big prediction. Sadly, that's a bit what's lacking on the platform at the moment, and that's the thing. Everyone must join at the same time and start doing bets to be able to have volume to do higher bets. I hope you learned a lot with this first tutorial. It's a bit longer than what I usually do, and I will do another tutorial about creating the market, the leaderboard, and the activity section altogether, because I think it's really interesting and also a better way to understand the website. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to comment, as I told you before. I will be happy to answer you and to support you. And yeah, use the link in description. You will get 25% of the platform fees cashback for the first 90 day, and I will receive a bit of it as well. So, yeah, win-win for everyone, and yeah, have fun and don't play too much.

@fj9410: Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial on HivePredict! Honestly, I found it a super valuable resource, especially because it manages to explain in a simple way a platform that, at first glance, can seem complex. I looked into it a bit more deeply and I realize that your tutorial comes at a key moment, because HivePredict isn't just "another betting site," but a prediction market native to the Hive blockchain that is well worth understanding properly. I think it's great that you covered the essential aspects, because there are several technical and operational details that are fascinating. Thanks again for taking the time to structure and share this guide. It helps enormously so that the Spanish speaking community can delve into these kinds of Web3 tools with a solid foundation. A great contribution!
