@novacadian: When you mentioned having your ticket did you mean that you have your Captain's papers? Could you legally do charters? If so would running charters out of Bitcoin Beach in El Salvador on the Makina sound of interest to you? It goes without saying that only crypto would be taken as payment? :) My tentative plan is to get down to Belize after the summer season here and from Belize go overland to check out El Salvador before committing myself by taking Makina through the Canal.
