Stance: support 01 — They are preparing for the next phase of testing and will be looking for community members willing to dedicate time to exploring the features, reporting problems, and helping to improve the experience Why it matters: Hive Keychain eliminates "wallet fatigue" by unifying multi chain management and EVM networks in a single app. By integrating Ledger, it offers frictionless institutional security, positioning itself within the global Web3 infrastructure. @cositav: From my perspective, this update is a brilliant move by the Hive Keychain team. They're taking a significant leap forward for Hive, especially in terms of security, and who knows, perhaps they'll even establish themselves as a highly prestigious wallet. Posted via First Context
@lazzvi: Hive keychain is getting ready for a big upgrade and step forward with the EVM and so multichain integration. Posted via First Context
@bitmoving: This is one of those updates where the technical detail matters more than the headline. Ledger support inside a multichain Keychain flow is not just another wallet feature. It changes the risk profile for users who want Hive access and EVM access in the same daily workflow, but do not want to move serious assets through a hot wallet only setup. That distinction is important. The part I am most interested in is the closed beta process. Hardware wallet flows usually fail at the edges: wrong network prompts, unclear signing messages, account mismatch, users not understanding what the device is actually approving. If those cases are being tested before public release, that gives the feature a much better chance of being trusted by non Hive crypto users. I also think this connects directly to onboarding. A multichain wallet is only useful if the security model feels familiar to people coming from Ethereum or Ledger first habits. This is a good step in that direction.
