Alright, so this is going to be a fun little video, and you're going to have to apologize if the sound is a little loud. I'm trying to get the microphone situated. Yeah, so, this is your journey, my journey, into the Peace River Valley. So, I have just pulled over. and checked my brakes. There's big warning signs everywhere that says you are about to enter the Peace River Valley, and you need to check your brakes if you're driving a commercial vehicle, which I am. So, we are going to proceed, and this is going to be a nice little video. I'm going to show you. This is, like, next to the mountains in Canada, this is most definitely my favorite part of the country. This is absolutely beautiful. Wait until you see this. This is just incredible. Oh, wow, and there's fog in the valley. Wait until you guys see this. This is going to be a lot of fun. So I got to go very slow going down, because this is a very steep grade. As you can see, it is an 8 % grade, and I got to use the look at that. Look at the fog in the valley. That is... insane that is amazing oh i'm so i'm so happy i'm recording this this is absolutely incredible so speed limit is 75 going down here uh i'm down to about 70 kilometers an hour right now just as you can see this is very steep and wow look at the fog That's incredible. So if you guys, if the fog wasn't there in the valley, this would just be, it looks like the Grand Canyon. Like, that's, that's what, that's what's going on here. And it looks like there's even construction, so we're going to have to stop for a bit. But that's good. We can stop, and I will, I will keep the video going because then I can kind of like. give you guys a better view, a better view of everything. And I have my microphone on, so apologies if you do hear the truck and the engine and everything, just because this is the easiest way I could try to do this, so you guys can actually hear me instead of the sound of the engine. But, oh, it looks like we're moving forward, so there's a lineup of cars here. Look, here I'm gonna show you. I'll show you guys. Look at this. Look at the fog. Like, we go real, we go, I'm guessing 500 to 1,000 feet down into the valley. And there is a little bit of a traffic jam here, but you can see, the sun is down. Look at the fog. Fog is going. Look at that. Crazy. So this is not going to be like a two-minute video just because of how long this drive is through the valley. We can see how far down that goes. Like that's not even the floor of the valley. That's not even the floor of the valley. That's not even the river down there. That's just... That's just a different level. Like, we go over a bridge and everything. This is, this is crazy. If you can see the top of the valley up there. If you ever get a chance to come to northern Alberta, definitely come and see the Peace River. And not only the town, but the river itself. Because it was actually a town called Peace River. But yeah, this is crazy. This is good that we're going slow, though. Just gonna pull over. Yeah, thank you. I need to look at this. We're going under the clouds. Look at this, guys. This is insane. I have, every time I've driven down here, it's been clear. But look at this. We are going under the clouds. Look at that. Wow. That's incredible. I have definitely never done this drive through the clouds like this. but I gotta go slow, so I'm only going 40 kilometers an hour right now, going down. So the speed limit is 75, but if you're driving a truck, you wouldn't even go that fast going down. You'd probably go 60 max. I've got going 40 right now, and this feels pretty comfortable going down. Lots of construction, though. Lots of construction. Wow, look at this. You're not even going to see anything, but I'm going to keep this going. because we go through, we go over the river itself on a really big bridge, but then coming back up, I think it's going to be really cool to see kind of like when we get out of the fog, because you can't even see the sky now, we're underneath the clouds. Under the clouds, and there's the river. I don't know if you guys can see the river. There's the river, so we're still going down, we're not at the bottom yet. and the bridge will be going over the bridge here in a second. It's called the Dunvegan Provin Provincial Park. So look at that. That's crazy. So there's the river, the Peace River. That's one of the largest rivers in Canada. And we are under the clouds completely. That's crazy. I have never seen anything like this before. Wow. I hope you guys like this content, man. You're not going to find this content anywhere but on high, it's been on three-speed. Look at that. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And here's the bridge. So we're going to go over the bridge. Right now, there's the peace of the river. back up. So now we're down at the bottom of the, you can see the cliffs here. It's just absolutely steep and crazy. Like we are, it's like the Grand Canyon, literally is like the Grand Canyon. But now we're going to go back up out of the fog. So I got to get on the right side here, and I'm going to throw on my warning. indicators to let people know that even though the speed limit is 100, I am definitely not going 100. I'm going up here. You definitely can't get up here with a truck going that fast. There is the East River, and the cliffs. Look at the cliffs. It's like such a nice sunny day, but you wouldn't be able to tell, because right now it looks like it's all foggy and nasty, but it's like this beautiful sunny day. This is gonna be crazy when we go. the sky. See you later, Peace River, Valley. We're still going up. Still going up, and this is, we're going to be, hopefully, under 10 minutes. We've got nine minutes of recording here. This is the longest, longest video I've thought of free speaking of lock time, guys, but I hope it was worth it. So here we go, we're going through the fog now. That's straight down. This is like here. This is a thick layer of fog. I got my foot to the, like, my pedal to the metal here, and I'm only going 70 kilometers an hour. That's how steep this. skies are blue. you guys enjoyed that. I have never done that ever before with all that fog. That's pretty impressive. Pretty impressive, guys.
