Ladies and gentlemen, Children of All Ages, welcome to another Django podcast, Jongo's Thoughts. We are excited. It's my day off. I've been on the road basically for a month. I got back last week for like two days, and then I got back on it and had to drive up north, but I'm back now. I got a quick little trip to Calgary next week for a night, but other than that, I'm back, and I'm not really going anywhere. in the truck until February, so that's pretty cool. I got a couple months here at home to hang out. So it's my day off. I took a day off. I wanted a long weekend, and I was just poking around the blockchain. And man, oh, man, I'm telling you, there's a couple things. Like, I question if I should even talk about it, because they're, like, two of the coolest things on the blockchain right now that there's, you know... seems to fly under the radar for the vast majority of people. Now, the first thing I'm going to talk about is Hive Grove. Obviously, Hive Grove is not a secret. People have been using this thing. They love it. Schiff Rock has been doing an amazing job with it. Just amazing stuff. It's so cool. I'm calculating my APR, and it's just through the roof. I invested, I think it was, 131 hive into this thing. about three, three months ago, let's say, I'm already at about 76 hive returned. So this will, you know, I'll recoup my full 131 hive in the next month or two. And then after that, it's all profit. That's, that's amazing. So really, really cool platform. And it's nice, it's a... It's a budding little community. It's really, really taken off, and it's just awesome to see development and passion with stuff on the blockchain, because you know what? At 5 cents, hive is not filled with passion these days. Excuse me, a lot of people have gone away. A lot of the old school names that you would have known have gone by the wayside. They've powered down. They've left the blockchain because... It's tough at 5 cents, you know, it's tough to get excited, but people are still here developing, and Hive Grove is obviously evidence of that. So if you have not checked it out yet, check it out, Hive-Dash Grove, that's the username on Hive, and you can check out all of the amazing... features of that little app and platform. The next thing I do believe is really flying under the radar, and I'm, and I'm, it's like, ah, I'm talking about this, but it's almost like the best kept secret on Hive and me talking about it. I don't know how many people actually listen to these, these recordings of mine, but I just, I just want to showcase something that's out there that really helped me, like I mentioned, I've been on the road for a month. and it's hard to do manual curation when you're on the road driving so much. So what happens is, is that it's almost like my hive power gets wasted, because I don't really have, I'm not really active, let's say, when I'm driving, but I like to curate when I'm not driving. Like, So what am I going to do with this Hive Power? Well, if you go to Hive Engine or Tribal Dex, you'll see that they have a leasing platform, a loan platform, let's say, where you can loan or lease your Hive Power out to accounts. And what's really cool is that you get to see who you're leasing and loaning your hive power out to, and these are accounts and usernames that you can know. A lot of people, sometimes there's some that are, you know, anonymous, and you're not really sure, but... I've been noticing a lot in usernames that I recognize. So, these guys and gals are looking for hive delegation over a set period of time, and they return daily payments to you in the form of either swap hive or one of the layer two tokens on Hive Engine. This is mind-blowing. This is amazing. I just got finished a month-long delegation to an account. It was like, 12% APR, and I ended up netting, like, I can't even remember, like, 300 to 350 liquid hive over the past month has been paid to me. Now, what I'm doing, I've mentioned this in a couple of my other posts, I'm taking everything I earn from the sale of layer two tokens as well as all of these, the lease payments, and I'm powering it up on, on Hive Power Up Day. So it's kind of like this bank. that has grown for me over the month. I didn't have to do anything. I leased out my Hive power to accounts that are going and curating stuff, but I'm getting paid every day for leasing out. It's brilliant. So I'm going to have 350 to 400. Well, I'm going to have more because of the sell-offs I did of some of the Layer 2 tokens, but, like, you know, almost 500 hive I'm going to be able to power up on November 1st here because of, this hands-free strategy of just leasing out your hive power. Now, if you are an active curator, you can get 10 to 15% APR. If you're really active, that's kind of the numbers that play. Well, no, that's a little high. Let's say, let's say 7 to 10% is what you can get from active curating. So I'm looking at loans that I can fulfill for... anywhere higher than nine. The one I just got finished was over 11%. Mind-blowing. This is great. So not only am I helping out another account, but I'm getting more for my Hive Power than I would if I was actively curating. Now, my situation, like I said, was different because I was on the road. I was on the road for the past month, so I couldn't manually curate, so my Hive Power was just sitting there. I took it and put it into the Hive Engine lease program here. Boom! Now I have a whole bunch of hive I can power up on the first of the month here. It's brilliant, absolutely brilliant. So, I just wanted to talk about that. It's two platforms, obviously Hive Grove doesn't really fly under the radar. It's a very active community. It's a budding community. It's one of the best things on chain right now. But the Hive Engine Leasing Program, de-lease, I think, was the original... thing that they call, I can't remember, I think it was DeLise, they tried this years ago, and it was pretty popular, then it just kind of fell by the wayside, but this is here on Hive Engine right now for you guys to use, their tribal decks, and if you've got extra hive power that you want to just get some return, by all means, go check it out.
