I have been thinking about this topic for a podcast for a while now.... And it took a post on @snapie by @epodcaster to let me...Think out loud about it :) Hope you guys enjoy my mid-life crisis of...

Ladies and gentlemen, Children of All Ages, welcome to another Django Thoughts podcast. I really gotta work. I say this all the time, but I really gotta find a better name for this. Django's thoughts is just, no one cares what I think, let's be honest. That's actually what this podcast is gonna be about tonight. So, I was on Snappy earlier today, and I was checking out, a snap from E-Podcaster. And she was kind of saying, hey, you know, you have everything that you need to be a success. And look, I agree with that. Like, I mean, you know, I'm paraphrasing here, but basically her message was, you know, just get off your butt. You have the tools. You have the ability to go and do something. And... So I agree with this. I truly believe that. I think if you want something bad enough, you'll work for it. You'll get it for sure. But what took me is, this is kind of something I was messing around in my head over the past couple of months. I've definitely got to earn a yearning, let's say, an itch to get back into the entrepreneurial thing. I did this for 25 years of my life. I just, I miss it, I really do, I miss it, I loved the creative aspect of it, I loved the value that I hope I was delivering to my customers and clients, but times have changed, right? And you take one look around social media, and I mean, look, I'm obviously not no millennial, you know, I'm getting up there in age, so I'm sitting there thinking, What attracts people to content these days? And this is the struggle I have. If you've read any of my content over the years or these talks that I do on the podcast, I stay away from AI. And it's, I have my own reasons for it. But I don't, I don't mess with it. And it seems to be. These days, you have to use AI if you want to stick out. It's almost like people want the cookie cutter graphics. They want the same old, same old videos, edits and stuff. Like, it's just like, if you don't use AI, it's a problem. I mean, this is just kind of what I've noticed, right? I'm not saying by any stretch that it's a must, but it just seems to be that that's one thing that. is needed in this day and age. And that's strike number one against me. I don't like AI. I don't want to use it. Is that going to bite me in the butt in the future? Probably. I just don't like it. I don't, I think it takes away from the creativity that makes us human, if that makes any sense. So that's strike one against me. The second thing, my content... is really, does not cause drama. And if you notice, especially in social media, if you aren't pissing someone off, or if you aren't causing division, or you're not arguing with someone, or saying something against one group of people or the other, you're ignored. Like, there's not, there's, there doesn't seem to be a market for positive thinking. positive messages. It's like, no, that's boring. We want the drama. We want the fighting. We want the cuss words. Strike number two, I just, I don't have it in me. Maybe 20 years ago, I had some fight in me. I just, I just, I have no desire to fight with people. I have no desire to cause a commotion. I just, I kind of go back to what I said about what I really missed about. working online for all those years was that I hope I was giving value to people. That's what I want. I want to add value to people's lives. And I feel like social media, the value we are getting from creators now, it's like it's adrenaline rushes. It's like, ooh, what's this person saying? Oh, what's that person going to say? This seems to be what gets the clicks, right? You know, engagement baiting or whatever. So again, strike number two. Strike number three is, man, my passions are a lot different now than they were 20 years ago. My passions now really are faith-based. Not only that, but it's also kind of a real attraction to the... community aspect of this blockchain. Not so much the price of crypto, not so much crypto as a whole, but the idea that this, this blockchain is not listening, and every time I'm talking about AI, let's say, there's not going to be an ad on Hive for AI. I'm talking about... you know, anything, a Hive is not listening in on my conversations. That being said, I'm recording this on an iPhone, so, you know, everything I'm saying now is being recorded, right? So it doesn't really matter, but that's strike three. I don't have this passion for getting into the latest, greatest money-making scheme. I just don't have it. I don't, it doesn't, you know, oh, this is the new hot thing. I don't have that anymore. So it's almost like I have these three strikes against me. I, you know, I don't. I don't want to use AI ever. My passion is no longer in Get Rich Quick, you know, and I don't really cause a lot of drama. So, here's, that's all, that's, you know, woes me type stuff, but this is the message that I think, I think, excuse me, I think that e-podcasters summed it up perfectly when she responded to me. She's like, and I'm paraphrasing again, there's... You're going to give value. There's someone out there that you're given value to all the time. You're always going to, you have the ability. And she's not talking about me specifically, just everyone in general. We each can offer something to the world. It's the duty of an entrepreneur, I think, is to find out what that value is. You're giving to markets, giving to people, and then find a way to promote it, find a way to create it. Find a way to develop it. Find a way to build it. And that's not a struggle. I think it's an adventure. And I think that's the entrepreneurial adventure I'm looking at personally going forward. I don't want to use AI. I don't want to be drama seeker. And I want to find a way to push my passion for God as well as this... blockchain that we have. This is a really cool Web3 chain, and the reason why, let's be brutally honest, we can blame the powers that be, we can blame the witnesses all we want, we can blame all the OGs, all we want. The only reason Hive does not have millions of people jumping on board is because of the price. That's it. If Hive was two bucks, three bucks, four bucks, I guarantee you. We would be up there. Anyway, so that's, I just wanted to talk about this. It's not, you know, I don't have it. The big message is, I think, I'm just going to echo what E-Podcaster said, is that you do have value, and you do, and it's important that you put that value out there. It's just your duty as a creator, as an entrepreneur, is to find out what that is, and then how to build it. So that's my, that's my thing going forward. How do I, become relevant in a market that is saturated with AI, that loves the drama, that wants to create division, and really doesn't want anything to do with this blockchain, if that makes sense. Anyways. That's my thoughts. That's my thoughts tonight. Hope you guys enjoy it, and if you have any ideas, let me know. I would love to hear your feedback on how to remain relevant in a world that is so focused on AI and drama. How do you stay relevant?
