This blockchain has so much promise. It's so sad that at times, we become our own worst enemy. But I still think, when push comes to shove, we have something the rest of the world needs. Real web3 ...

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another podcast with your friendly neighborhood, Django. I am here getting ready. I'm about 36 hours away from hitting the road, and then I'm on the road, basically all of July. Like, wow, it's the busy time of the year for my work, and it's exciting, but I will be on the road for quite some time, so I will do my best. No promises, but I'll do my best to keep the content coming. And I think that's what's beautiful about my little professional microphone that I'm using right now. I can do these audio podcasts pretty easily using the amazing apps, which is kind of what I wanted to talk to you guys about today. The amazing apps on Hive, you know, yesterday I did this. this fanboy post for Snappy because, wow, I didn't even know the amazing features of the desktop app. Just mind-blowing stuff that's being developed there. And also, you know, the developers of Snappy are also kind of working with ThreeSpeak. And I don't know if you guys have tried ThreeSpeak out recently, but wow, it's just seamless. It's just, it's such a joy to use. If you've used 3-Spek for any amount of time, you'll know that the promise was always there, but sometimes using it was like you're pulling your hair out. Like, sometimes the upload wouldn't work. You couldn't get it to post properly. Like, you know, it was trying times, but now it's just like, now it's easier than YouTube. That's how good 3-Speak is right now. Like, so good. And it got me thinking, all the stuff I've been talking about here on Snappy and... how excited I am to use it and, you know, the ability to support the development of these type of projects and ThreeSpeak and creating content. It got me thinking again, like, is it possible, even at five or four cent hive or whatever we're at now, like, is it possible to one day build a solid income stream from your efforts here on chain? Like, that's, that, it's, it's funny because it's something that's really been going on in my head, basically since I started on this chain. Like, my, my dream, when I first discovered this blockchain, was to eventually make a living from my efforts here. Like, that's what I wanted to invest here. I wanted to create here. I wanted to build communities here. Wanted to build businesses here. Like, my, my entire dream, you know, when I, when I discovered this place was, hey, can this be? How do I make this? That was not the dream. The question I was asking myself was, how do I make this an income, right? A sustainable income that can support my family. Like, how do I do that? And over the years, you know, it's, you know, and obviously six, six, you know, seven years ago, Hive was worth a lot more than it is now. The development, though, is amazing right now. Like, even at these super low prices, like, seeing the stuff that's getting banged out and just developed. It's just amazing. So can we, can we make a living from this? Or, you know what, let's, instead of putting the cart before the horse here, can we make a sustainable secondary income here? Like, can we make a couple hundred bucks a week here? Can we make a couple hundred bucks a month here? I was checking out some stats, and right now currently, I mean, I'm doing, I'm doing give or take, like $20 a week in rewards with my curation and content creation. Now, it varies. Sometimes it can go up to 30. Sometimes it's less. But that's the start of something. Like, to me, that's a solid foundation. And I've maintained throughout my decades of working online, I've always said, if you can figure out how to make $27 a day, you can figure out a way to make $270 a day. Like, it's just 10xing whatever you're doing. And now that doesn't mean that I'm going to sit here and, you know, try to do 10 times more blog posts. I value your time. I value your content feed. I don't think people should be pumping out. 20 pieces of content a day, but there's other things you can do here. This is what's amazing about this blockchain. You can delegate to projects that give you an ROI. You can even just sit on your hive power and get, even though it's a small percentage, you can literally sit on your hive power, it will pay you. every year, but then the curation you're getting, the ROI can be pretty high in that. You can do the HBD thing. Now, my problem with HBD is that it fluctuates too much. Like, I mean, one second, it was 20 % APR, next it was 15, and now it's down to 12, and they're trying to lower it. Like, I, that's, for me personally, that's, that's just, it fluctuates too much for me. I don't know. You know, it's the witnesses that decide that. Us little peons on the blockchain, we don't decide that. The witnesses decide what we get. I don't like that. I think we should determine what we're worth, if that makes any sense. Like, someone dictating how much our money is worth, how much our hive is worth inside of Hive, just rubs me the wrong way. So, I prefer... putting effort in. So putting effort in for me is more content creation. Putting effort in for me is curating more. Putting effort in for me is finding projects that I can delegate to that reward me for delegating. That's what I mean by 10xing. So this is my goal. You know, over the next couple of weeks while I'm on the road up to a month here, I'm really going to be trying to figure out. while I'm content creating, while I'm curating, while I'm doing all this other stuff, start asking questions, like, how can this turn into a side hustle? How can this, how can this become a gig, a side gig? How can we do that? Even at 5 cent hive, it's possible. It's got to be, because the apps that are being developed here are too awesome. They're so good. They're amazing to use. They're a breeze to use. Yeah, the elephant in the room is, we don't have enough people. on the blockchain actually using this stuff and engaging and developing and creating, et cetera, et cetera. But that is, again, stuff that we can't necessarily change. But what we can change is our effort. We always can control our effort and our attitude towards what we're doing here. So for me, yeah, I'm going to keep creating. I'm going to keep doing my... my Christianity stuff. I'm going to keep talking about the blockchain. I'm going to keep talking about strategies on how to grow. But I'm going to be really focused in on asking myself this question. How can we get back to making this a legit side hustle that eventually could transform into an income? A solid income for people here. What do you guys think? I'd love, this is the big thing. I'd love to hear your ideas. Like, do you think this is just me, you know? talking to the wind here, like, just, I'm not trying to relive six, seven years ago, or is there, is there, is there, is there a future here for where we can actually make it an income, not necessarily a livable income, but a side hustle income to start, where, where this can help pay some bills, we can really become a part of this community even more and, and put it out to, the world. How can we do that? That's the question. I would love to hear your thoughts. What are some strategies that you've used, what you continue to use, what you're thinking of using? Let me know in the comments. And of course, as always, I will be giving out some HSBI shares to amazing feedback and engagement from you guys.
