I appreciate you guys! And I don't say it enough! Tonight, I share my thoughts on the podcast on how I've said thanks over the years.... Upvotes, replies and....Something that at times, hasn't been...

Ladies and gentlemen, Children of All Ages, welcome to another fun-filled episode of Django's Thoughts. I don't know. I keep saying this, but this is like months into this, and I still don't have a name for this podcast. It's just me thinking out loud, thinking about different topics. And today is Hive-related. So, if you were used to my theology... theological thoughts, take heed, I'm not, I'm not going to talk about that tonight. I'm talking about my journey here on Hive. Now, a couple things, what really got me thinking about it is I saw all the comments that people have been leaving on my blog, and something I have maintained since basically day one is always, if I can't, respond to people's comments, I at least, like, upvote them. Like, I think that's something that shows that, like, I appreciate people's time and effort coming to my blog. Hey, let me throw you an upvote. Excuse me. I like to comment if, you know, if I'm not driving across the country and I have time, you know, not only comment, but also upvote. Just my way of saying thanks, because I do appreciate people coming and hanging out. and chatting with me. But right now, I have pretty much all of my Hive Power delegated, so a 100 % vote is only worth, like, 2.4 cents. So hardly, like, it's not sustainable, obviously, I, you know, I don't upvote full percentage comments, but I like to give people at least, like, two cents. per comment. I just can't do it when it takes 100% of my hive power to get to a two cent upvote. So that kind of, and this is just because I've been just absolutely in love with the Hive engine leasing program. I dished out 25,000 hive power, and I'm earning like almost 10 hive a day right now. It's like 11% APR. It's so useful for me when I'm on the road. Like, when I'm on the road, this is brilliant, because I do a lot of manual curation, excuse me, and I can't do that when I'm driving, you know, 8 to 10 hours a day. I just don't have the time. And when I stop and I'm pulled over, it's just... you know, the last thing I'm trying to do is read content, I'm ready for bed, you know, like, it's so, this has really helped me out, but this is what I've been doing, excuse me, and I don't know if this is kosher, let's say, on Hive, because I know that this, this, this gets people riled up. There's, there's a program, a project on Hive that's been here since day one. It's pretty obviously not going anywhere, so it's not a, It's not a rugpole by any stretch of the imagination, and it's HSPI used to be called Steam Basic Income. And I know there was the purest that were up in it. Remember, the people complaining about this are the ones that basically have turned hive into the five cent token. Like, all of their decisions and the management of the blockchain over the years has resulted in this. So anytime someone seems to be, you know, protecting the rewards pool. Look at Hive as a whole. Like, we're not getting anywhere. And, and when you're, when you're making people feel like they can't use the programs that are out there, like HSPI is such a fantastic, fantastic project on Hive, but it just has this, this, this, I don't know, you know, people, oh, it's, it's auto voting and you're buying votes and all this. It's like, no, you're rewarding. comments, and this is, I'm tying this into what I'm talking about tonight, because right now, I cannot upvote people because I have so much of my high power delegated. So my solution to this is people are coming to my blog, okay, I can respond to them, but I want to show them that I appreciate their comments. So what I've done for years, like this is not nothing, this is nothing new, I've been doing this for years, I send people HSBI shares. I sponsor a share for them. Now, it's a win, win. This is my, I've mentioned this for years. This is my three-fold win when it comes to HSBI. One, the person making the comment gets a share in a HSBI. It's fantastic. You can read all about the project. Go to Steam Basic Income. That's their handle. You can check out the website and everything. So the first win, the person making the comment, gets a little share. The second... win is that I get a share. It's a give and take. It's not even a give and take. You don't take anything, you give. So they get a share, I get a share, and here's the best thing. The blockchain as a whole gets hive pretty much locked up because HSBI, guys, I don't know if you've paid attention. They don't sell their hive, they power it up. So it's always there. Win, win, win. The commenter wins. I win, the blockchain win. This is one project, I think, falls under the radar because there's been the purest that have been out there saying, oh, it's raping the rewards pool, and this, no, it's not. It's a beautiful way of telling people thank you. It's a beautiful way for getting support for your blog post. It's a beautiful way for supporting creators and engagement on chain. And that's, that's really what we're trying to do here, folks. Like, let's stop. making comments and engagement like this evil thing. Remember, for some of you old school people, remember when short-form comment was frowned upon? Remember that? I remember that. I remember a project got runoff of the blockchain because they started doing memes, and they were told that short-form content is garbage and it has no place on Hive. Well, look at it. Every single project now has micro-blogging. Every single... project has their own thread, their own, their own snap, their own waves, you name it, there's a campfire on Hivegrove. So, let's take the purist opinion on stuff, you know, and I get it, they're protecting the chain, there's nothing, I get it, I get it, but when you support people that are actually engaging, and you're supporting them with, with, projects like HSBI, this is a good thing. This is not a bad thing. So, for me, this is a couple of points I wanted to bring up was just this. I would love to upvote everyone that's commenting. I can't, because I don't have any more high power of delegated all out. So the way I am saying thank you for engaging with me is... I'm throwing you stuff on, if you look, if you use Snappy at all, I'm throwing little badges at you when you're commenting, go to snappy.io, and you can see all the stuff I'm giving you. But also, I'm responding, but I'm also sending HSBI tokens and shares. And, you know, it's one I remember, because again, I'm driving. But anyways, I just, I think, I think this should be embraced. I think things that help engagement should be embraced. This is not a bad thing, folks. People using the blockchain is not a bad thing. I just wish we weren't so, you know, you know, like, it's, it's, you don't know what to say about this. You don't know what to say about HSBI, because it's loved by many, and it's hated by many. But the people that seem to hate it are the ones that have most of the, the influence on this chain. So. I don't know. Anyways, you guys, keep commenting on my stuff. If I can't get you upvoted, I'll definitely respond to you. I'll definitely send you guys some shares. And I'll, I'll just, I'll just say thank you for engaging with me. I think that's, that's a good thing on this blockchain when we support people that are engaging with each other. What do you guys think? Sound off in the comments.
