Full Circle [Podcast]

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another... I'd call these podcasts, but I don't know if they're 100% podcasts yet, because, one, there's no intro for this, usually every podcast I've ever done in my life, has a fancy intro, so I should go to Fiverr if Fiverr still exists and get someone to do a nice little intro for these things. That's first reason. Second reason is... I don't really do anything with these other than post them on 3Speak. And that's fine, and I love it. But, you know, the podcasts that I've done in the past, not only did I upload them to 3Speak, but I'd get them out there to Spotify and Apple Podcasts and whatnot. So, yeah, this is more just me kind of rambling, let's say. I do have the intention of making these kind of more... official podcast, but for now it's just you and me having a chat, if that's okay. And today I'm very emotional, guys. My wife kind of caught me sitting in my home office here with a smile from ear to ear, and she saw how happy I was, and we had to talk about it. And if you're looking at this, if you're watching this... this podcast on Three Speak, not just listening to it, you'll notice that the thumbnail within it is kind of a picture of a chair surrounded by some books, some Bibles, theological stuff. It's basically my reading nook. What's a reading nook? It's basically just kind of a spot where bookworms are at peace. It's a happy place on planet Earth for bookworms and people that love reading. And I had one, guys. I had one seven years ago, and it was in a house I owned, and I had a beautiful custom-made kind of... nook of sorts, let's say, my businesses were going really good online, and then, as you guys know, my life kind of took a massive upheaval, and I've been basically trying to rebuild since, and I know I've said that for years now, but it's been a process, it hasn't been overnight, that's for sure. So about seven years ago, I lost my business, lost my house, the only thing that I did have, though, well, I had God, which is very important, material-wise, the only thing I had was this blockchain. So, this is kind of two-fold here. I want to explain to you guys what happened throughout this time to kind of bring me full circle here. And then some gratitude and some scriptures I'll go over to kind of remind myself why all this... is happening to me right now. So I felt like Job, man. I mean, I lost it all. I lost my business. I lost my income. I lost my home. It was, it was pretty rough. It was definitely a rough time. And... in that home was my reading nook. It was my happy little place on earth. It's where I could read. I wasn't even a, I wasn't a full -fledged Christian then either. You know, seven years ago, I was kind of just getting into the faith, recently married, and I was just, I was in love with reading. I've been in love with reading for about 20 years now, and it was just, it was devastating, man, and I've been trying to, it sounds really corny. but I've really been trying to get my reading nook back. It was kind of my... It was kind of my measuring stick. I went through lots of ups and downs, especially on this blockchain. There was countless times where I thought, you know, everything was great and wonderful, and then, you know, anytime you think things are going smoothly, just give it a day or two. Your feet get kicked out from underneath you, and, you know, we moved. I took my family across the country, we moved back. It was just... It was just crazy. It was a crazy, crazy past almost a decade, guys. Like, I don't wish this on my worst enemy either. Like, this was just devastating. But you know what? We had faith. And my wife was as solid as a rock. She was there beside me. My kids were always there. They were always fed. They were always taken care of. So it could have been a whole lot worse. But selfish Django wanted his reading nook back again. guys are probably going like, what's the problem? You had food on your table and you had a roof over your head, kind of sort of. You wanted a reading nook, yeah, because that was my measuring stick. My measuring stick was once I get my reading nook back, it's come full circle. Now, obviously, I don't have my online businesses anymore, but I've moved on. I'm doing something that I'm very passionate about now. and obviously, you know, talking about God as much as I can on this blockchain and around social media, and with my job, I get to talk about God all the time, which is fantastic. But I never had my reading nook until, well, technically, I kind of got everything back on Friday, but it wasn't, like, settled until today. I sat down, I took a picture, and that's the picture you guys are probably looking at. And it was a beautiful feeling, man. I'm just, oh, I was so happy. I told my wife, I said, I don't need anything else in the world now. I need you guys to have relationships with Jesus and, you know, let us just be healthy and just keep paying the bills, and I'm good. I don't need crypto to go to a billion dollars. I don't need millions of dollars. I don't need fancy cars. I don't need any of that. I have my reading note, guys. This is so awesome. But, you know, it took a lot of prayer. It took a lot of work. It took a lot of faith, and it took a lot of, you know what, I'm going to say it, it took a lot of you guys. And what I mean you guys, I mean everyone on Hive. You guys know that I powered down a lot over the past couple of years. And that was basically to be able to feed my family, but also to secure the house that we're living in now. I lost it all, guys. And because of this blockchain, because of your support, because of everything that's happened, I was able to get home. I was able to, because of what, you know, the blockchain... gave me, like the upvotes you guys have been giving me throughout the years. It's just, oh, forever grateful. And this is why I mean by a two-part kind of full-circle moment here. I want to thank you guys, but I just want to go over some verses here, where we can kind of look to who the great provider is. And if you go to First Thessalonians, right, chapter 5, verses 16 to 18, and I'll just read these quick to you. Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Give thanks always. We go to Ephesians 5, verse 20, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Those are two really important verses to remember, always to be giving thanks. always, always to have a thankful and a gratitude heart, a gratitude-filled heart. And finally, I'll just leave you guys with Psalm 69, verse 30. I will praise the name of God with a song, and I will magnify him with Thanksgiving. Guys, I know that, like, you know, first, it's, like, kind of corny, like, this guy's talking about a reigning nook, like, really? But it was a measuring stick for me personally. And it would have never happened if I gave up. It would have never happened if I lost my faith. And I'm telling you, unbelief creeps in. Things happen. The world is an evil spot. It's a very evil place. The people you think will be there end up not being there. Nothing runs smoothly. But when you stay the course with God, things always work out. And I'm living proof of that. I'm living proof that you just, you stay the course, and you don't give up hope, and you just keep praying, you keep working towards it. Just remember the little things, be thankful for the little things, the food on the table, the roof over the head, the freedom to worship, like, all of this stuff is so important. So I just wanted to share that with you guys. Full circle moment for me here. Let me be brutally honest with you, though. You're going to see a lot more snapshots on snappy with pictures of books I'm reading and verses I'm highlighting in all sorts, because I got my reading knuck back, man. Thank you guys for listening.
