Hello, hello, hello, welcome, ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, to another Bible Books and Blockchain, the Triple B's podcast. I'm going with this for the name of it. I really don't know if it's going to stick. I'm on the road, as you guys know, so when I do get home, I'm going to, I'm going to get some more professional. work done on this idea, get a little intro done and whatnot, and make it a little bit more professional. Look, I'm not, I'm not that professional, after all, I am carrying this little tiny microphone in my hand while recording this, but I do want to put, you know, some... definite attention to this because this is obviously the passion that I have, and if I can do that and create value here for you guys, I think it's worth investing some finances into making it a little bit more professional. Anywho, yeah, so like I said, I'm on the road. I just got to my destination. Now I'm as far east as I'm going to go. I got to Winnipeg, Manitoba. I'm here for the weekend, and then I start heading back west. So it's been a good trip, uneventful, which is always good when you drive trucks. So I'll just, I was inspired again today. And I think that's one of the beautiful things about my job is that I get to, I get to meet a lot of people. And with this ministry that the church has, I come across. a lot of different people. And the thing with my job is that people will share their stories with me. And it comes with the job, and I love it. I love hearing people's testimonials, just, you know, the testimony to how they came to Christ, and I just, I love it. But every now and again, you'll get stories where it's hard. And I'm obviously not going to mention anyone by name or anything like that, because it's not my place. But I met a lady today, and I've met her quite a few times, actually, every time I've done this trip. And she's shared with me her struggles, let's say, over the past couple of years. She's a, I wouldn't say an elderly lady, but she's a senior, for sure. and she's lost a lot. Man, this is, it's hard to, it's hard to really put into words the amount of grief that this, this woman has gone through and the loss she's experienced. I hope you're sitting down for this. She's lost her husband, one of her sons, her brother. and a few other people in her family within the past couple of years. I mean, just one of these losses is debilitating, and she's lost a husband, a son, and a brother, and then some other family members. I mean, this is just, it's mind-blowing to me. And what struck me with this woman is that she has deep faith. She shared with me that she wants to continually, continue, excuse me, share the gospel. Every chance she gets, she talks to people about Christ. She wants to study her Bible more. She wants to learn as much as she can, and she wants to be praying and pray for others. And it shows the character of Jesus that is in her. Like, I couldn't even imagine the loss she's gone through, and she's, her faith is holding strong. And this is a problem, I think, with, when someone, you know, suffers loss, and if their faith isn't strong, it's very easy to start pointing the finger at God. And if you want to see how that is in the Bible, read the book of Job. Chob lost everything, absolutely everything, but never cursed God. Faith, faith made him whole, even though he went through so much. And what's really important to note is that it's not God that creates strife and evil and death in this world. Go back to Genesis 3 and you can see the fall of man and who is responsible for it. It's not God. Everything God created in Genesis chapter 1 and 2 was either good or very good. It was a good planet, a very good planet. What happened in Genesis chapter 3 is the serpent. got a hold of Eve and Adam and fed them lies. And as soon as that happened, man stopped trusting God and started trusting their own intuition and their own way of doing things. And we can see how evil crept into the world. But, you know, look what Jesus says. Jesus says this in Matthew chapter 13, and it's the parable of the kingdom of heaven. and it's from chapter 13, verse 24. And I'll just give you the context here. The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in the field. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tears among the wheat and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tears also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, sir, Dist not thou so good seed in thy field, and whence then hath it tears. And here is what Christ says, which is so important to note. He said unto them, verse 28, an enemy hath done this. This world is the devil's playground. The death, the disease. We are pointing the finger at the wrong person and creator, like the creator of the evil and hurt and destruction is the devil of good and very good examples of Garden of Eden and humankind is from God. So I think, like, you know, I'm not trying to get too in depth with this because I'm just, again, I was inspired by this lady's story. She did not blame God. She never once blamed God. She shared this with me. She's like, I know who did this to me. God is testing me, but this is not his doing. This is the devil doing this to me and to my life. And we have to remember that. The enemy is not... God, the enemy is not our fellow man or woman. The enemy is not the political party you don't agree with. The enemy is not your neighbor. That's not your enemy. The enemy, the enemy is the great deceiver. And I think that's how you can build stronger faith when you know that God is not sitting there. picking who is going to have death in their family, who's going to get sick, who's going to get cancer, who's going to have this. When we realize it's not God doing that, our faith is strengthened because we have a great hope. We have a great promise. We have Matthew 633, seek ye first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all this will be added unto you. That's what we need to focus on. So, again, just sharing a little thought, a little blog post slash podcast in the back of a semi-truck in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I hope this is a value to you. Build that faith up. You know, keep your eyes heavenward, keep praying, keep reading scripture. That is how we defeat the devil.
