All right, what's going on, guys? So, full disclosure. I'm recording this in the truck that I'm driving. So if there's any background noise, microphone that I bought, specifically because I knew I was going on this road trip, and I wanted to continue the audio blogs, but I didn't want to bring that big bulky... Blue Yeti I have at home, so I went shopping and I found these real little fancy little microphones. You see me, I feel like such a content creator right now. I'm holding the microphone like you see people in the TikTok videos. Oh, I feel so special. I feel so special, folks. But yeah, let me know how the audio sounds. Again, I'm gonna replay this and see, I did a test and I did not hear the engine of the truck in the background, but if you do pick it up, if you've got really super sensitive ears, I apologize. I'm just trying this out because again, like I said, I want to keep going with these audio blogs, but it's gonna be a little tough doing it on the road. the downtime I do get, I'm stuck in the back of a truck, so why not try recording with these new little microphones? So, yeah, I wanted to talk to you guys tonight, kind of, it's on a theological side of things. So I read this book recently. The author's name was Fitzroy Anderson, and the book was called Question Everything. And it was a really deep apologetics book, all about faith, all about theology, theory of evolution, dinosaur, you name it. I mean, it was just A to Z fantastic information all about, you know, why we believe what we do as Christians. I was reading this book, and I finished it, and it's definitely not a small book. I mean, this thing was over 500 pages, but it read, it was such a good read. Like, I got it done in about a week, because I just couldn't put it down. And one of the big takeaways, obviously, you know, the big takeaway is that we, you know, Hebrews 111, that, you know, what our faith is built on. And that was... That was definitely one of the messages I got, you know, the need for faith and how important it is, but something... I've spoken about before, really, you know, over the years, really stirred me while reading this book. And it's an attitude of gratitude. And that sounds so corny. Attitude of gratitude. I sound like a personal development coach, right? Create an attitude of gratitude. No, this is what this is about. I wake up every day. and the first thing I do is I say thank you to God. I don't ask for anything, not right away at least. I thank him. I'm grateful that not only that I woke up, but that my family did as well. And, you know, sometimes we take these things for granted, you know, but there's some people that... go to sleep and they don't wake up. There's some people that go to sleep and they don't know that this might be their last day on earth. And so reading this book, Question Everything, it really made me realize that there's certain things in my walk that I do, but I need to do more of. And the gratitude part of it, You know, we're told, you know, to pray, pray without ceasing. And a lot of times, I think, I made this blog post a couple weeks ago where we treat God like this genie in a bottle, right? Like, oh, God, I want this, I want that. And, you know, he's a big creator, you know, like, he will give us the things we ask for, maybe not in our time and in the way we think we need them. but he always provides. And that's fine and dandy, but I think that prayer also needs to be prayers of gratitude, prayers of thanks. And that's what I really want to do myself a lot more going forward. You know, just being thankful for the little things, the fresh air, the fact that your family is safe and healthy, and you have food on your table. And these are things, especially us in the Western world, we take for granted, man. Like, we whine and complain about the littlest of things, stuff that... really doesn't matter in the big scheme of life. We complain all work. You know, let's talk blockchain here. We're complaining about the DHF and we're complaining about this and that third. Guys, we have so much to be grateful for. The fact that we can actually even produce content on a blockchain like this is amazing. The fact that... I can create this type of theological content on this blockchain without feeling like I got a tiptoe around certain topics and stuff. It's, I'm grateful for it, you know, and these are little things that again, we take for granted. Food on our table, we take for granted. Health, we definitely take for granted. I remember my grandmother used to say, if you have your health, you're the richest person on the planet. and I could not agree with her more. I miss her very much. She was definitely an amazing woman. So, yeah, you know, again, I'm doing this kind of, you know, part of this blog is a test for the little microphone to see how it sounds on the recording, but also just... the thoughts I've been having since reading that book by Fitzroy Anderson and how important I think that for my faith and my walk with Christ, I need to practice a lot more gratitude and being thankful for the little things and not complaining, you know, if things don't go my way every day. Just be grateful for it all. Anyways, guys, hope you have a fantastic evening, morning, day, night, whenever you're listening to this. And let me know. Please do let me know how this sounded. I would love to get some feedback on this little microphone and how it turned out. So I will see you guys on the chain.
