Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to another podcast. The podcast that still doesn't really have an official name. It really doesn't have any official game plans. I just, I call this right now, Bibles, Books, and Blockchain. And the reason is because this is my passion. My faith. reading, and this blockchain. So it's kind of, I try to encapsure, excuse me, I try to capture everything that I really love in these podcasts, and it allows me to put stuff out there, right? It allows me to put my thoughts out there, my opinions, my, you know, my passions, which is great. And I'm grateful for it. I had a plan tonight. I was going to, you know, continue on with the Bible Journal. I was going to talk about 1st Corinthians chapter, I think 14. We're on now, but... something else kind of stirred my heart. It's kind of what I want to talk to you guys about tonight. As you guys know, the whole thing, this Bible journal thing, is because I have a love of journaling. I've been journaling since, for, oh, wow, 2005, let's say, 2006, 2007. But there's no real rhyme or reason to my journaling. I watch a lot of stuff on YouTube where people, like, are very extravagant with, you know, the dates and how they put notes in, and, you know, I was never like that. I would just write things down, quotes, you know, images, sayings, things I learn while reading different books, whatnot, and I would just put it in there, and I would reference it. Like, I would just have it at my desk, and if I ever needed it for consulting or when I was doing my live streams, I just had it there as a reference. So it would just be stuff that would pick up along the way. But I never had, like, a structure to it. over the past couple of weeks here, if not a month or two, I've been really trying to, you know, find a method to journaling that I can kind of keep all these thoughts that I have and put them in some type of database that I can reference, because I have a lot of journals, guys. I mean, I've filled out about four or five... moliskins, molestines, I still don't know how to say that. I have countless other, I have the five -minute journal, I have the self-journal. I have the, I'm looking at my, over here, I have, oh, I have so many, I mean, I have a devotional journal, a men's health journal, I got, you know, journaling through the Bible, different books that I'm journaling, like, I just, I have so many journals, but I have nothing that's really structured. So that's been my game plan. But guess what? A twist here, that's not even what I really wanted to talk to you guys about tonight. It was, um, I'm going to get a little personal here, and I hope you guys don't mind. I don't want to make this too long. Like, I'm going on three minutes right now, and you know, I like to keep these under 10 minutes, because I value your time. I think it's very important to keep these things brief, so I get to the point, and you can go about your day. So... I'm going through these journals tonight, and I'm just reading some of the first ones I had, and, you know, this was a long time ago, because I had this thing written down in the back of one of my first journals, and it said, retire by 40. I was on the way to that, too, like, with my online business and stuff, and that obviously did not happen. Life got in the way of that. But, you know, I really, I have no regrets. You know, everything that has gone on, the battles I've had, the struggles I've had, it's all been worth it. It's, you know, God has provided. I've, you know, I mentioned this the other day where. I felt like Job, not to that extent, but I lost a lot, and I had to rebuild myself, but I never, I never cursed God, and that was the big thing. I never, I never blamed God, I was never one of those guys, oh, God, why are you doing this to me? I was never like that, that was just, that was never in me, and this is way even before I was a Christian, like, this was just a spiritual guy who believed in God, but really had no kind of, again, structure, so, but I never blamed him. for all of this. So I'm sitting here reading these journals and stuff I'm writing down and retire by 40. And so I must have written this in my early 30s. And that was the game plan, didn't happen. And I remember around when I was about 38 or 39, I started switching it from retire by 40 to, I said, to be fit by 40. Now, for me, I'm a bigger dude. 6 foot 3, a big guy, but not like overly obese or anything like that, but I'm a big dude, and I wanted to take my health really seriously when I was... fired up for my online businesses and everything. I had all this spare time, and I was like, oh, I got to work on my health. So my goal was to retire by 40 and to be fit by 40. Well, both of those things have obviously not come true. And in the span of the past decade, I'm 49 now. So nine years, I have acquired the wonderful disease of type 2 diabetes, which is self -inflicted. 110,000% self-inflicted. And I get really lazy. I start doing good. I start getting my blood sugar under control, and then I get relaxed and lazy. And it just, it spirals. It goes downhill really quick. And I was feeling that tonight. I was like, man, like, I got all this stuff written down where I wanted to be fit by 40, and I wanted to take my health serious. Oh man, like, what am I doing here? So it kind of stirred me to look into this now and to revisit this, and I'm putting this out there. This is June 1st, 2026. So I have 10 months now, or little under 11 months, let's say, to... before I hit 50 years old. So I'm going to make a commitment. I don't know exactly how I'm going to do this yet, but this is a commitment. I'm putting it out there in the universe, right? That's what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to say it or write it down, and then it becomes official, right? I'm going to get fit by 50, and I'm not trying to be, you know... Arnold here or anything like that, like super, you know, muscle man or anything like that, but I want to do this, not only for myself, but I want to do this for my kids, I want to do this for my wife, I want to do this, and, you know, for a lot of people that might not know about my faith, my faith takes the health message, health message. Excuse me, very seriously. So I want to do this for God. We are the temples of God. We are supposed to take care of our temples. We're supposed to take care of our bodies. So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to start reading a whole bunch of books on it. I'm going to do some research. I'm going to look into this. But I'm going to start just by, you know, continuing to stop the crazy eating. I'm going to get back on my... my diabetic diet and start moving every day, every day, just doing a little bit of movement. I got 11 months, and I'm going to start, you know, like just tracking things, tracking body weight, tracking blood sugar, trucking blood pressure, and just go through this, and I really want to do this, guys. So this is my game plan. over the next 11 months. So not only will I be continuing with the Bible's books and blockchain, maybe we'll add body in there too. So I don't know, I don't know where this is going to go. But this is kind of what I feel God has put on my heart tonight, and I wanted to put it out there talking, let people know, and start this, start this process to get off my butt and get fit. because I'm going to be a half a century old in 11 months, and that's terrifying. No, it's not. It's a blessing. So, yeah, that's the game plan. So expect some new content from me going on that angle. I'll continue to do the Bible Journal, continue to talk about blockchain stuff and the books I'm reading, but I'm going to add this in. and see where this goes. So, yeah, it's never too late. And I hope that's the big thing. I want to be an example to people. I want to show people that even 49 years old, never healthy, always overweight his entire life. If I can do this, you know, anyone can. So we'll see how this goes. So mark it down. June 1st, 2026, journey begins next 11 months.
